I think you could push the concept even farther, there are so many strong combi to do with this detachement... For example: - inquisitor + 5 heavy intercessors in a corvus: inquisitor gives psyker keyword to a squad that could nt be lead by a librarian. Corvus ability + assail strat + grenade strat + psychic shock wave= an average 9 MW ( didnt counted the HI shots). - IN 5 DW terminators with librarian; 3 terminator alone with plasma canons ( not cyclone missile launcher one) with divination discipline will statistically oblitarate 1 regular SM squad with 80% chance, and the whole squad will kill another one in close combat. - you dont need to put fusillade to a sternguard unit, juste give ot to a librarian in terminator armor, put it in another 5 terminators squad with 3 assault canons; select divination discipline and oo the moment: 11 hp against a land raider in shooting phase; and another 11 HP in fighting phase. - if you give celerity to the librarian in terminator armor you can also swith in " close combat mode" using the biomancy discipline; then you will give 2 extra move to your terminators. Just think about it: 10 DW terminators rapid ingressing, then moving 7, advance and charge, reroll charge, Battle shocking their opponent on charge, fighting with +2 strengh ( thank to iron arm).. - put a phobos librarian in spectrus KT, use a captain phobos in the deployement phase in order to deny ennemy s infiltrators, then redeploy et use it to score secondaries/ objective stealing every turn. - did you know that you can use indomitor unit too ? Just put draxus in it, use prescient precision on them and give lethal hit, ignore cover, reroll one to hit, reroll one to wound, on S11 melta, S6 boltstrom gauntlet; S8 psychic tempest sshit 2 for draxus ! Then switch on biomancy move 7" use iron arm and enjoy necron bashing with S14 power fists; even basic close combat weapons become S8 ! Just keep in mind that the unit as to be in 18" range of an astartes psyker. So many players just don't realize how insane this detachement is in DW list.
Wow! You sure have been thinking about this detachment! One of the challenges that came up in my game was the fact I went second and you have to choose your discipline at the start of the battle round meaning I had to choose it before DJ’s turn. Meaning I often made a choice and by the time his turn was over I was wishing I had chosen a different discipline. I do love the sternguard with fusillade though because they get to reroll their wounds into the oath target. Can’t wait for you to see the actual game and hear your thoughts on it.
Good question! The DW terminator squads are 180 plus the 75 point librarian so they are relatively cheap for their durability. I might run two termie squads, and either one sternguard or one fortis kill team. With whatever points you have left put in some scoring units of your choice.

Fun fact most people don't know. Lane owns 50% of all Sternguard intentionally purchased since 10th ed began.
OK fine I own 35. Five were converted into my company heroes and 30 for sterguard purposes. But they’re so good. I was a head of the curve.
I can not wait. Deathwatch is back !!!
DEATHWATCH IS BACK
Deathwatch is black!
Thx Lane.
Thanks for watching!
Do you get bits for your terminator missile launchers? or do you just own that many terminators?
How would you play a similar list at 1000pts?

I literally hit the like button, but it stayed at zero… lol
Please have a good one and Godbless!
Thanks for watching and good luck at your RTT this weekend!
Thank you. Sometime youtube is a little slow with data. But they catch up!
I'm not sure if I like this detachment for deathwatch over the black spear, but I'm excited to be proven wrong! :]
You’re just going to have to tune in tomorrow to see how it does! Honestly I liked the power but I really missed the uppy downies.
