Magic, it worked straight away .Thank you
ive been searching for a small ac unit for my room and came across this device, wanting a 2nd opinion other than the reviews i came across your video. extremely informative and useful, thank you!
my machine has stopped and the display says LC on the top and front? no mention of this in the manual .Any ideas
I found this which might help www.justanswer.com/hvac/ng5fm-goldair-gpa-2a-portable-airconditioner-showing-lc.html
Thank you for a great and informative video! Do you find that the unit does not make any noise in the ‘dry’ mode? My previous dehumidifiers have always been quite noisy but I can’t seem to hear anything and I’m not sure if it’s working!
I’ve only used the dehumidifier function a couple of times and it’s noisy in that mode as well as the air con mode. If yours is silent when the dehumidifier is on then it’s not working
I’ve lost the attachment that connects the hose to the unit and cannot find a replacement anywhere. Any suggestions? Thanks
The best thing to do is probably to contact the AOSOM customer services via their website www.aosom.com
@@MarksTechVlogs thanks!!
wherever I search not 1 person mentions the exact size (DIAMETER) of the extraction flexi hose pipe???? Can you tell me this? as I don't have a window in my office... or at least a window with an opener... so I am drilling a hole through wall... and I cannot find the size of this pipe anywhere.......
Just measured it for you...the distance from one side to the other of the pipe across the centre is roughly 14cm
@@MarksTechVlogs Mark - YOU ARE A STAR!! to get this info is like drawing feckn teeth you know!! haha,.. no sellers seem to give it!! which is fine if you have a window etc etc...This seems an odd size though... I was hoping it would be standard 150mm (15cm) flexi hose... and I had put all this into my shopping trolley (as I am trying to do a pro job at my lass's salon) So I will be drilling a 150mm hole through concrete walls... then I'm putting on a louvre vent with the 150mm flange to connect the flexi hose to... I'm maybe guessing here... but maybe the 14cm pipe will stretch over onto 15cm???? whatya thinks Mark?? (thanks again for a super quick reply...am in Mallorca btw!! - a Scot stuck on Mallorca!)
@@martintramuntbikemallorcak481 It is a flexible pipe so I think you'd get away with a 15cm hole and it should be fine
@@MarksTechVlogs cheers bud
No problem, always happy to help people out 😀
I've jist bought this model but can't work out how to set the timer or sleep mode- any tips?
I’ve not used the sleep function but the timer you just press the timer button then the up or down arrows to adjust the amount of hours which you see on the display and then leave it
Where can you buy spare drainage hoses?
I’m afraid I’m not sure
Hello I've just bought this and mine is super bassy/vibrating (pretty much vibrating the remote if I lay it on top) is this right or do I have a faulty one?
It does have a bit of a hum…difficult to tell if yours sounds different to mine though, feel free to send an email/instagram message with a video clip and I’ll send one back to see if that helps
I like I be able to use this in a timber cabin (windowless) if I drilled
The pipe out through the wall?
Yeah you should be able to
how did u get on with this? planning on piping mine out through the wall also
No chimney ??? Just block it off with plywood and cut in that… no need to punch through a wall
Do you know what diameter the exhaust hose is? I know I need to order a longer one but dont know what size to order. Great video, I've brought one off of the back of this video. Cheers
Hey, it’s around 14-15 cm.
@@MarksTechVlogs thanks so much! Couldn’t find anything online about it.
Thanks, I bought this because of your video and it’s pretty darn good. Loud, sure, but the noise is comforting to sleep to. Only question I have is how much does it cost to run? I’ve been putting it on for like 20 mins at a time but would like to sleep with it on when next week’s heatwave hits. Any experiential wisdom welcome 🙏
I was using it last night for a couple of hours and thanks to Octopus’ tracking it looks like it was only costing about 20p an hour but will keep checking as I use it this week some more!
@@MarksTechVlogs thanks, super helpful 🫡
can you leave a link to the zip up thing ...thanks
This is the one I use amzn.to/3UcJBe8
Hey mate if you still have the aoc 32inch 240hz monitor could you do me a solid and measure it from the top to the bottom of the monitor not including the stand please
Hey, a little bit rough as I've only got a 30cm ruler to hand but it's about 42cm from top to bottom, not including the stand
