Wrong choice of words "you went mad" No, you don't say that to someone going through mental illness.

It is absolutely wrong to tell someone who just had a mental health issue he went mad. Wrong terminology. Very negative. Long gone are the days when society used to use negative words like mad, insane, blind, deaf, dumb, lame. The proper terms include person living with mental health issues, person living with hearing impairment, person living with sight impairment, person with physical disability. The emphasis is in the person hood of the one who is experiencing a disability or going through a mental health issue. Their episodes for mental health and Impairments for those living with disabilities does not reduce their humanity/ person hood nor Do we have to reduce people to their impairments or mental episodes.

We need to distinguish mental health and drug use. Marijuana is a hallucinogen even the pope would have a psychotic episode.
