OBINNA SHOW LIVE: KIMANI MBUGUA MENTAL HEALTH SITUATION - Baba Kimani
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 12 май 2024
- Kimani Mbugua was once a popular Kenyan media personality, known for his youthful energy on the news scene. He rose to prominence working at Nation FM and later at Royal Media, where he graced the screens of Citizen TV, Inooro TV, and Hot 96. However, he left the spotlight in 2020. Since then, he's bravely spoken out about his battles with mental illness, which reportedly stemmed from heavy marijuana use. Despite seeking treatment and appearing to be on the mend, Kimani recently revealed through social media after his recent posts where he was seen angry and throwing tantrums showing he is not in a stable mental state, indicating a possible relapse. Since then Oga Obinna mobilized Kenyans with the help of his Father, and the Nairobi gossip club to chip in and provide help to the once-celebrated Citizen TV news anchor. His Father, Baba Kimani, joins us in this new episode to update us on the Kimani Mbugua situation. His story highlights the complex challenges associated with mental health, the potential impact of substance abuse on such illnesses, and the ongoing need for support systems for those struggling.

Any solution you might have to increase his recovery process ?
Hi I have someone who has gotten help kindly reach out to Dr nderi chiromo hospital Lavington
Yes, Prayer.
Awachie ma weedi watu wanawezana Kama sisi othwise anywe maziwa kwa wingi
Kimani’s treatment should be lifelong. We have his diagnosis. He needs to be on medications throughout and hospitalization when on manic episodes. I think the question is can we get him stay on his medications? Can we get him stay off drugs- marijuana, cocaine, and alcohol?
Lifetime medication, kuna injection every month and pills everyday na akimiss once ndio maana inajiruda... If they do follow ups accordingly he will recover though medications ni lifetime
On Friday night I got drunk, and for the whole of Saturday, day and night, I was still drunk. Listening to what Kimani had been through, I'm quiting alcoholism and giving my life to Christ.
Hallelujah 🎉🎉🎉🎉.kwa yesu Kuna raha.
Hugs, you can do this💪💪💪God loves you
May God bless you as you prepare to give your Life to Christ
Amen
Mwaniki you have just spoken about positivity in your life...we are proud of you for making the 2steps, realizing alcohol is not good and secondly deciding to quit.. personally I wish you the best

Baba Kimani is woke. He is aware of his son's traumas, he is willing to learn, he is forgiving and understanding. God bless him.
When u listen to this story and ublisten to other people's story we understand that people are different depending where they are like now Kim has a very good relationship with parents his life has been good but boom problems and the parent is just forging and loving the kid others u find children struggling u here people say it's because they had bad relationship with parents may God forgive those parents who keep on altering bad words to children without understanding them just remember when they fail u will also not benefit but when they succeed they will absolutely bless u but we need to support each other if they give u small than unexpected be greatful imagine what this father is going through gave Kimani education thinking now may be he has invested like most parents do now he is beging for 100 Bob and u see a parent outside here a pastor hating on the wife's son and mistreating the son just because he doesn't write a cheque to him like a neighbor's son to appoint the parent have no interest over even the grandkids and when the son keeps distance for peace u are told that's a dishonor I don't understand people they are the most difficult creature to deal with no wonder people prefer to stay with animals but anyway may God see UA love Baba Kimani and extend his grace to u have just shown how the prodigal son was received God bless u dad
when you are a caretaker like him and myself you gat no choise. its tough being a caretaker. God pekee

I am a biological sister to a brother that suffered the same in December of 2020. EVERYTHING the father has explained, are the exact things my father can testify to.
Although my brother's diagnosis was PSYCHOSIS, but everything happening to Kimani happened to my brother and we have NEVER recovered since then.
It is an experience you will never fully understand until it happens to your family.

Well said.
You have wrong assumptions about men. It's been proven that men are more selfless than women. A man will take a bullet for you, a woman is iffy

My prayer is that when he gets healed and begins again, media houses will open doors for him and he will not be stigmatized
just wanted to watch this up to the end. Kimani's story is very relatable to me. I joined rehab on 15th November 2023 after loosing everything to my alcohol, weed, jaba, cigs and everything i could lay my hands on just to escape reality. I have never touched any drug since then. I attribute my recovery to the good support system I got from my family and well wishers. So it gives me joy to see Kimanis dad stand by him through this journey, we can only help him with so far but he is Kimani's best bet on his journey. The journey is mainly a spiritual one and one can relapse any time all you have to do is dust yourself and try again. ntachanga of course
Amen
Congratulations and keep going on the sobriety journey.
I am deeply moved by Kimani's dad. His profound faith and love for God are truly inspiring. May God bless him and grant healing to his son, in Jesus' name.
If my dad was this supportive to me and my siblings, we would be far in this life. God bless you Baba Kimani

My brother, born in 2003, has bipolar disorder. He is a smart and bright student and was a top performer at Kitui High School until he dropped out in Form 2. It's been four years now, and his situation hasn't improved. He hasn't been in school for all this time. I can relate to Kimani's dad.
