Been an age since I was last on RUclips - really glad to see you still making videos and that they're still a great deal of fun. Really ambitious title that looks as though it would have been a slog to get through back in the day without a guide - Escape from Trial and Error Purgatory. Hats off to the devs for trying to meld a few gameplay styles into something unique.

If I had found that game back when it was made I would have spent weeks on that. It would have probably been a most memorable game. I have many games like that, not always the most popular games, just the ones I'm nostalgic for @@Xyphoe

It could be yes, him too. It looks more like him than John Carpenter to be fair. But then he's in the Snake Plissken outfit with the eye patch, camo trousers and boots... too! So THREE different possibilities! Who it's meant to be... Snake? (or "Snail" as it is in the game) ... Lee Van Cleef's character Hauk? A tribute to John Carpenter? Or actually a 4th possibility... because the scrolling text says "Manage of the goal (jail it means... bad translation) Thunderson" .... ? Actually who really cares! 😆
Regarding most of the disc images from CPC-POWER having bugs - I recall that some of Ubi Soft's games had a protection system that, for a long time, _no_ Amstrad CPC emulator could emulate successfully (although I don't know if this is still the case now). I wonder if _Manhattan 95_ uses the same protection, and instead of refusing to load, it deliberately introduces the bug that you mention at 15:46?
