I see someone else beat me to the punch to advise you that the "Big Ben" was actually St Pancras railway station. The bridge to Wales is called the Severn Bridge (cos it crosses the River Severn)... it's free to cross now, but there used to be tolls on it. But only in 1 direction. You had to pay to enter Wales, but it was free to enter England. As an Englishman, paying to get into Wales used to really rankle with me!!
Good to know on the tower, though, thanks! And good to know on the bridge too. It's wild that it was 3 years ago that I drove over it playing the game for the first time. Can't believe time has gone that fast. :)
A really fun drive. Show rooms closed, speeding fines and just avoiding decapitating a helicopter. Business on the up with garages and drivers, as well as more subscribers on ZBSG.
Yes, this one felt like it had a lot going on, and I'm still not sure how we avoided that helicopter. :) The channel does seem to be garnering some RUclips algorithm attention, which is always fun too. :)
Nice to see the channel really starting to take off and buying the first garage
Thanks! It's been a lot of fun having things split like this. Thanks for stopping in! :)
Most ETS2 youtuber dont have commentary but you do thats why I love your vids and keep up the good work ❤.
Thanks very much! Although I have had some people say I talk too much. Probably a matter of preference. :)
I love what Promods have done to London.
It's totally different, for sure. That was a lot of fun driving around, and I love that our garage is across from a football pitch. :)
Truck driver from Scotland here, it's pretty funny watching you reverse 😂
Thanks! I aim to please.
you can see the real big ben from ring road
Thanks! I wish we checked it out before leaving. :)
Really liking this channel as with the other. Bravo.
Thanks, Ken! It's been fun to split them like this, and I'm enjoying making stuff for both. :)
I don't think it was the cones so much as the pothole they were covering. I slowed down and zoomed in on the video. Good to know they're international also lol. I believe those are actually a strap material hanging down in the tunnel. They used to do that on American railroads before tunnels. A warning to the hobos of the day.
Yes, that makes sense. Maybe that is one of the "bumps" that they included in the 1.47 upgrade? It was on the short side of a corner so I really didn't have much warning. Just like real life. :)
@@ZillaBlitzPC It was one of those tire killers. Not very wide but extremely deep. Lovin' this series. Thanks for the videos.
Ouch! And thanks for the kind words. I'm happy you're enjoying it! :)
Ran my first load in ETS2 demo. Edinburgh to Carlisle. Mangled their truck something fierce trying to adjust to being on the "wrong" side of the road.
For driver, if Eryk D is available you might want to consider him. In ATS for me, he averages well over $10/mile and nearly $8K/day.
Haha! That whole "drive on the left" thing can be so problematic! :) And thanks, Eryk D - noted!
Yeah you were saying how it might take awhile to earn up money as I'm watching your speed stay in the red. I was thinking yeah it is if you keep speeding, you'll spend it all on tickets. LOL. Good driving outside of the speeding. Blessings
Yeah, I think we piled up a good chunk of change in fines there. Wales really doesn't like me. I swear the speed limits are messed up somehow, though. I will be LASER-FOCUES next time. :)
My first driver Joseph B got a promotion, from my old stralis 310 to the same stralis but 420 engine. Other i have 3 garages but one is for my use (deposit of different trucks for occasional driving different trucks)
Nice! Congrats! You're making great progress! :)
Great series Mike, your new channel is really gaining traction now. If you’ll forgive the pun 😂
Haha! Thanks! It'd been a lot of fun so far. Enjoying the ride. :)
You had promods installed for the first 13 episodes in the other series
Taking a bit of a risk, getting the big loan and two trucks and drivers straight away. You'll need to generate about 7,000 per day just to cover the loan payments. Very high risk strategy as starter driver jobs pay jack sh...err....poop. This career will be a brave new world. Good luck! Great video as always
That's good to know on the loan amount, thanks! I think we got this. Might be a bit overconfident, but I'm hopeful that our two drivers can bring in 3-4k/day total pretty early on, and we can definitely make up the difference. Then once the hired drivers get going, it'll cover the loan and then some. We'll see, challenge accepted!
@@ZillaBlitzPC I admire the bravery & confidence, just hope it pays off. Don't forget that sometimes hired drivers can't find a job and return to garage empty and these trips cost money. Can't wait for the next installment!
@@samcattell1150 Scarlett was very confident in her interview and assured me that her skills included finding jobs everywhere she went. I think she's a winner, and is going to be an employee we can build a company on. I just want to make sure I keep upgrading her truck. :)
@@ZillaBlitzPC excellent news. Maybe in future interviews, use Jana K from ATS as a case study for new applicants of how not to start and develop your driving career. On the other hand, maybe I'm being unfair on Jana, maybe it was the truck she had pre-upgrades 🤔
@@samcattell1150 I still think Jana K and Ahmed had something going on between them. They were AWOL for large chunks of days there, and suspiciously in the same place with their trucks quite often.
Ep 5 and already 2 garages, 2 trucks and a driver! HOW ...HOW did you not lose the top of your truck with that copter!? Absolutely smashing it!
I know, right?! I thought those chopper blades were in play! I thought for sure we were doomed. Piston the god of truckers shined on us today. :)
Use a real sunrise sunset mod it is there in the workshop. It makes sunrise and sunset times live to real world and updates regulary
That sounds like a fun idea, thanks!
london is huge
Massive, yes! :)
Im not big fan on ETS2 but worth watching 🎉🎉
Thanks! :)
@@ZillaBlitzPC i very much enjoy american truck better..
@@CowBoyHatGaMingeach to his own I guess.
@@MrStian78 YES! i do agree each is own!! Pleasure!! Just sharing my thoughts just like everyone elsse
i spend 2 lacks for fuel
That’s pretty cheap. I usually have to pay 5 lacks.
i am on a 67 hour journey from Norway to Lisbon for 127 grand
Nice! That’s a haul! Longest Journey!
I don't think that fixing your truck with low wear like that is really necessary. I used to fix mine after it got 10% wear on components. And only the engine and transmission is the ones that will cause you problems if they get too much wear on them. I remember that i got like 17% wear on the engine and it started cutting off while driving. But the 10% is easily in the safe zone.
And if low on money you can fix parts separately.
I suspect you're correct, but I'd have a hard time leaving there without fixing it. I'd have trouble sleeping. :)
@@ZillaBlitzPC work stress :D
Exactly! :)
@@ZillaBlitzPC btw i saw an irish trucker all the way here in Finland yesterday. Don't see that very often.
That's a haul, yes! We will shortly be a German trucker in Ireland. :)
you bought a daf from cardiff
Ha, almost! But they were closed. *sad face*
M4 is the best motorway
Good to know, thanks!
Is cardiff in UK
Yep. :)

Yet?????
I was surprised they offered us that big of a loan so soon, but yep, we've got a garage and hired Scarlett! :)
