having recently replayed this game in ng+, i kind of wish this was the encounter theme for the whole game, or maybe have the battle theme change depending on if the player or the enemy initiates the battle. i really like the frantic kind of feeling this battle theme gives off.
I wish more rpgs had tracks like this one it's odd to put into words but in this. Track i can actually vibe with it it gives off a cold mysterious feeling with a bit of haste and frustration all. The feelings mai has ( sorry music theory makes me over analyze)
I just beated the game and from title I went to bonus to sound. the ost is battle hymn. this video is missing the first part. start from 00:00 is somewhere else it already been play a little bit
@@skydragonslashu the battle ost from the 1st game had that name as well, but this one just has "continued" in "continued, slashing meat to the bones" in the name which i find very passing since the battle system feels identical to the 1st game, felt pretty nostalgic
This game has great music, although I will say one of the boss soundtracks is pretty annoying. Which sucks because bosses in this game can take a lot of punishment.
