Gorillaz songs literally never sound the same, yet have a unifying vibe at the same time.. truly amazing, so many great tracks down this rabbit hole!
Gorillaz is definitely a lot of fun! Frontman is Damon Albarn and he's a real artist, not afraid of experiments, always in creativity
His singing seems so effortless. Fantastic voice. His acoustic version of Melancholy Hill is incredible, especially the one where he's on the radio show Triple J.

This is an interesting song. I agree a lot of their songs are so different. They are super unique.
Check out the Soulchild remix. Basically a more upbeat version. There's a version with the video resynced to it too which actually fits better with the up tempo.

Another Car Video they do is "Stylo", At one point in the video 2D says To Murdoc "It's Bruce" and Murdoc freaks out. Cause it's the actual freaking Bruce Willis.
Fun fact, in this song Noodle's part is sung by Tina Weymouth, bassist for the Talking Heads as well as 'normal Noodle' Miho Hatori!!!
Damon Albarn is a musical genius! He was already genius in Blur, but everything else he did after that is genius too!

Take a listen to the "Soulchild" remix. It's the version that most people are familiar and is arguably better than the album version. The remix was the opening song for EA Sports' FIFA 2002, and all over the radio back in the day.
As for another Gorillaz song to check out on the channel, do Stylo, featuring Bobby Womack and Mos Def. Both the song and the clip are brilliant. Quite a different art style in the clip compared to the earlier songs of theirs that you've been reacting to, and it's got Bruce Willis!

Gorillaz did a music video for "Saturn Barz (Spirit House)" in VR which I watched on my Oculus Quest recently and it absolutely blew me away.

That's Damon Albarn from 'Blur' singing. Gorillaz was his project after Blur. And you noticed the same similarities between the two bands without even knowing their connection. Love that!

Love this, Damon Albarn never fails to deliver
You need to check out the Soulchild remix of 19-2000, love both versions they each have their own energy and feel.
Damon's voice is amazing to me. Still love Blur and my favourite Blur son is Tender.
Gorrilaz varies due to changing singers that feature in the music, still the music put together is always unique and lovely.
Damon also does World music - very random musical instruments from every part of the world with non-English singers and soul pulling sounds.
Love the Gorillaz and I have enjoyed Tranz as well as Aries which are more recent.
Another band that varied their music a lot was the stranglers. To this day "Peaches" brings a smile to my face, especially when we walk at the beach.
Yooo gorillaz was my shiiii rem hearing them a long time ago on the radio when I was 6 never stopped listening to them sense, so nostalgic to listen to their music now so much good memories with their music.

Not heard this one for like forever. One I think you should react to is Earth by Lil Dicky. I think you would like it. But make sure you listen to the uncensored version.

Watch Nelly Furtado's video "Explode" if you like animated stuff. It's a bit old and not the best quality but it's nice and I love the lyrics. Look it up on RUclips and Wikipedia. I wish there was a clearer version of the animation. I am SURE they have it somewhere.

"Tomorrow comes today" was the first song I heard from this album and is still my fave.

The close my eyes to listen to the music, the sound effects of the video are very distracting. This is my first listen and I can't really hear the quality of the music.
this is gunna be way to old to even fact check on, but when this song and clint eastwood were on fire, you could actually log on the gorillaz website, and play the game 19-2000 while the song played, you drove through explosives, and did the loop and confronted the moose it was AWESOME!!!!!
