Union Pacific Breaks Down Norfolk Southern Passes

- This is a video I made in Mableton Georgia of a Union Pacific train breaking down due to sticking breaks on one of its cars and a Norfolk Sothern stopping next to it for a short time so they can clear the track ahead for the Norfolk Southern to pass him. The Union Pacific was fixed and cleared to go about an hour after the Norfolk Southern passed and caused a big back up of trains which will air next on my video list on youtube. Stay tuned.

I am near here sometimes. I work out of Austell from time to time which is right down Bankhead (or what ever they call it now) from there. Grew up not far from there too. Waiting for the KMart to go out of business across the street - lol

that dang gate drives me crazy. It never stops with the bell. Looks like 23N with the UP and 322 manifest on the other train.

So did the broken down train ever get moving again? I only ask because the video froze and started buffering at the 9:15 mark. And it's still buffering as I type this.
Yes it did after a couple of hours. And yes this video always seemed to have a problem but I did away with the original so I can't re upload it.

Idk why u guys r talking trash on up. They r the biggest railroad west of the Mississippi River
Other than being what could have been a classic 0-60 quarter mile run, this looked pathetic with the five (5) huge general motors diesel smoking carcinogenic spewing engines pulling a modest load, but remained amusing. Have to wonder what the cost to return ratio is between those five engines running the job versus a single old steam locomotive pulling the same load.
Diesels can pull at .5 HP per ton. Steam can't do that, end of story.
the black ones are cool but most cool ones are the yellow ones because they blow their horns loudly all the time I here it by my neighborhood!!!...
