- This is a video I made with a Norfolk Southern heading North from Tampa Florida. On the way he has to battle with Amtrak the Silver Star at the double diamond then proceed North to go head to head with a CSX train heading South.

Amazing how individual locomotives can run a real adventure on routine business. Norfolk Southern must have had a light delivery deep into CSX territory, so CSX Dispatch hooked the NS loco onto the nose of a six-strong power move pulling a hundred cars from Tampa to Orlando for the flip-flop. Good thing Dade City is double-tracked; the "Joust at the Amtrak" shows how much traffic a Class 1 railroad has to move at once.
When I was at the Haworth church I saw a CSX and a Norfolk Southern locomotive pulling the freight through Haworth New Jersey
That K5LLA was measured at around 126 to 130 decibels at 25, 50 to 100ft

WOW that Double Diamond crossing is scary. If the Am Track was running late or the other train was ahead of schedule. That would be quite a disaster.

Post on you tube and twitter and operation life saver Eileen Maria wysocki to Mary Carey I saw maybe three in two hours time , I would watch longer but I sit on guard rail on fourth st or papercfaft , and too many people complained about them too many trains they said , who do they think hauls everything , they don , t like waiting on them , and they should have patience , they don , t like the horn , that , s what makes the train , they haul a lot , but without horn. , how do you know when their coming ? What if gates are broke or signal misses up. , they people I think they would complain if someone gave them a million dollars in stead of being happy , their never satisfied , Eileen Maria wysocki
