I swear to God that the phone turned on. I did the same method with the video, and nothing happened. I left it for a whole day, and the next day I went to see the iPhone turned on🎉🎉.
I have the issue on my P40 Pro. Finding right spot on brightness is a solution but temporarily. Heating up is also a temporary solution. My suggestion is before your phone dies totally, just change the screen because it will one day and these solutions wont work anymore.

When I came back, I took my phone out of the pocket and I noticed it was really warm. then I noticed that it was flashing green. A bit later in my next class, I took it out of my pocket and it actually turned on and I could use it normally lol

Do not use a hairdryer for your iphone!!! I just tried this and now my screen is completely black. I found another site that says it just pushes the water further into your device and make it worse. Idk why they recommended this!!

after the quick trouble shooting the up and down volume plus long press of the power button, still green screen is still there.
same thing with me and theres no other way to remove it
