Apple should take responsibility. OnePlus is offering a lifetime screen replacement for such issues. Or we should report this to the consumer forum.

Just had my 14promax display repaired for the same issue. Luckily its still within the 1year limited warranty so I paid nothing for it. Someone with a 13promax had the same issue when I was at the service center but her phone is already outside the warranty period so she left so mad and I could understand why. Apple needs to fix this issue for free when physicial damage is not proven.
I got free replacement though my unit was also out of warranty its on your hand whether you can handel them or not it depends on you. I was also angry at the service center i was visited. But after raising my complaint to apple customer care it gose everything smoothly though i had paid then Service charges 1180/- but its not worth to pay them to be frank 😢

@@prathameshlate3050 This is my story with apple follow my steps you will also get free replacement, ye problem ios 16.6 par hi nehi ho raha hai maine 2 weeks pahle ios 17 public beta 6 use kar raha tha rc ka pahle version to be specific, par 20 sep ko ye issue hua suddenly now I worried and found a lot more iPhones having the same issue I will visit service center day after tomorrow on 22 let's see what will happen, should it be free of cost or they will charge 30k lets see.
Update : on 27 i received call from service center they told me my phone display was replaced and i can collect it anytime after that so i collect it on 28 sep , they replaced the display and i only paid 1180 as the service charge, now every one is curious how i get free replacement, after out of warranty, i submitted the phone i told them keep my phone do diagnosis and give me a jobsheet so i can complaint bcz after i visited they totally denied to replace it free of cost. So i decided i will complaint to apple customer care, so i call them, they also denied to repair but after 40 min of arguing i told them transfer the call to your senior and he after listening my problem, he asked for my job sheet number and he told me please wait 2 days they will ask service center if it was a display issue or any other hardware issue, then after 2 days they call me that they received the update from service center and it will transfer to abroad headquarters after they decided they will let me know within 4 days, but I received call from service center at 27 sep in the evening that my phone display was replaced that was the moment I enjoyed lot and now i am using this phone its like new again 😊😌 just to be note that i was so angry on service centre and customer care when I talk to them, don’t go easy on them bcz its their issue , So they should repair it for 🆓 .

I had hairline horizontal green line on iPhone 14 Pro recently. I had updated 16.6 few weeks ago. Fortunately Apple replaced the display because it was in warranty. I had my old series 4 watch with green display like you showed in the video and they refused to change because it was out of warranty.

Finally you talked about this problem. I had asked about this problem 10 month ago my i phone 13 pro max display was turned to white and display was showing like flash light my i phone was totally unusable i had sent to apple store they said we will check if its not customer mistake then we will change the display free of cost otherwise will have to pay display charges. Fortunately my phone was under warranty they checked and accepted its not customer mistake and change the display. This problem arising especially in 13 pro max after updating ios 16.
Yea, same thing happened with my frnd. He had iphn 13 pro and he had this white screen problem. Luckily they changed the screen under warranty...this shouldn't be happening after u pay so much for an iPhone. Apple should be more careful in these matters. Also it's not like one or two users face this problem. Many users do and it's not going to be good for their reputation
Yes absolutely but its happening with many i phone users they are facing this problem but i was surprised no one i phone reviewer have talked about this problem. Its good to see that nabeel bhai have talked and highlighted this issue i phone users are facing. apple should take notice on this and provide solution to their user even if their i phone are out of warrenty otherwise they would have to pay extra to change its display. iPhone 11 Pro Max iOS 14.8 pe chala raha hun. Soch raha tha iOS 16 ke last version pe ya iOS 17 ka jab stable version aa jaaye uspe update karne ka taaki app support rahe. Kya suggest karte ho karun? 11 Pro series mein to suna nhi ki ye problem aa raha hai.
In our country, most apple dealers will waive the payment for the screen repair even if your device is outside of warranty. But in any case apple wont fix your phone, technicians here can fix the green screen by installing a thin jumper wire connecting two nodes behind the screen. Other technicians short out a node behind the screen using the static created by a lighter starter. I dont know which node is faulty but for 3 iterations of this iphone why cant the screen supplier fix this issue already when some independent technicians have found the faulty node on the screen? 😑
I came across this issue 1 month back now I am using my iPhone 13 pro as a paper weight and switched to OnePlus. My watch series 8 is useless to me now Apple should come up with something for this issue it's very disappointing. Thanks for sharing this it was a great help.

Sir facing cellular network issues after update on 17.0.1 on iPhone SE 2020.Did a downgrade to the previous version still the same issue..whereas network was better previously! Apple needs to work on their updates because it is not possible to update phones every year or even purchase Pro models.

my iphone 12 pro has green tint on the edges of it, visible mostly on dark grey screen or black screen, do i need to replace the screen?
I faced same issue with my 4months old iphone 14 pro. Screen started to flicker and finally after sometime display was fully gone. i went to Maple service center and they looked at my phone and directly said we will replace the display. i did not pay any money for diagnosis and even display replacement is done for free of cost as my phone is under warranty. Only painful part here is data will be lost. PS: My phone is US variant and i was allowed to claim warranty here in india.
This issue started last year in Oct, I got it replaced by apple at free of cost as the phone was under warranty. Again I faced same issue in July 23, as my phone was out of warranty they said it will be paid service. I went to BKC, talked to manager, they very well know its their fault they accept it but are denying to take accountability. I filed case in consumer court, but they gave me reason of water damage. As I can't do anything about it and don't know the procedure after consumer court, I sold my phone. But Apple is surely scamming all customers for this issue where customer is not at fault.

Green screen paid a visit to my brothers iphone 14 pro max. These things never happened before with till iphone 12. Probably this is something apple does to prevent grey market sell! We don't have any apple support here in bangladesh. But the solution you mentioned are provided by third party service center in bangladesh for 5000 bangladeshi taka

I faced this issue in my iphone 13pro after updating it in 16.6.. luckily my phone is in warranty so i send it to the service center at Bangalore..(because there is no one in Himachal) then they said it will take atleast one week to repair..😢 It's been a week and I'm still waiting.. i think i made worst mistake by purchasing iphone..instead we should go for Samsung galaxy s23 or ultra series really they are literally much better than iphones..😑

I'm facing same issue from Friday and I gave my iPhone to Ivenus - Andheri East (Kanakai wall) first they have run diagnostic to check whether its software issue or Hardware and EOD informed me it's hardware issue; now they have escalated the matter to apple for free replacement; hope it will be accepted from Apple otherwise I need to pay INR 30,400.

Cost of an 14 pro max is 1.6x more than the price in US here in my country. So it's unjust to pay for the damage that the user didn't cause in the first place. Despite various reasons, it's Apples' fault to not address this problem. These are electric devices after all and some batches or component might be faulty. With the cost of Replacing a display without warranty I can buy another upper mid range smartphone and use it roughly.
When I came to know about this problm, I haven't updated my iphone 13 and still running on ios 16.3.1. Most probably the problem started after from ios 16.4.1. This is unexpected from apple. People buy apple product for their quality , reputation and longivity. And the saddest part is that apple is charging this insane amount. Being such a huge brand they should acknowledge this issue and offer free replacement.

Have not updated my Iphone 11 after 15.6.1 , best decision ever , no lag while playing games , no frame drop , battery health is fixed at 90% from past 1 year even though i play a lot of games .

I've 11 pro max running on iOS 14.8. Have you noticed anyone facing this issue on 11 Pro series? As I'm mostly seeing iPhone 13 & 14 users suffering. I was thinking of updating to last version of iOS 16 or a stable version of iOS 17 as app support for iOS 14 is going down.
@@akshayaddy you can update man becomes this issue is coming only in OLED screens and as an iPhone 11 pro Max comes with an LCD display you can update the phone there will be no issues 😊
