I just dropped my phone on the toilet, I actually managed to catch it but it dipped in about 25% in the water for less than 1sec from the bottom of the phone. It was working fine for day 1 then day 2 all the sudden I got the green screen effect, the top left screen is glitching as well showing some lines and random RGB colors. Man, I just spent $50 replacing the battery about a week ago, and now my phone is broken? I want to buy a new phone but I don’t have the budget for it right now.
Sorry to hear that but if you don't have a budget to buy a new iPhone right now. Don't worry because iPhone 16 series will be a killer and that is something you should look out for.

Try hard restarting your iPhone and then try. Vol + > Vol - > Press and Hold Power button until you see apple logo.
I am on ios 16.7.2. Shall i update to ios 17.5.1 now or directly to ios 18 during september when the stable update will come? I have iphone 13.
Wait for 1 month Update it to 17.6 it will be best

I think you should take your iPhone to Apple Authorized Service Providers as I think there is a hardware damage which can only be fixed by those guys.

Stable release will not make your screen green. This issue happens mainly due to wrong os update.

You need to Press Vol +, Vol - and then press and hold power button for 20 secs
