This young lady has what I call "bluegrass soul" in her voice. Sings more than just words. The band is terrific. These are the young guns that will bring more young folks back to festivals and keep the music alive.
Having only recently been made aware of this group I have been staggered by the clips of this women's talent, beauty, sincerity and authenticity with every video I've watched and am equally dumbfounded I had never heard of any of these musicians in their own right as the Tuttles are incredible and Sully's picking is mindboggling. I'd always been lead to believe that gorgeous as the state was, nothing good ever came out of California. Blue Summit/AJ Lee and The Tuttles prove that notion wrong anytime they play! Love your sound and your dedication to the artform. "Thank You!" for being a blessing to bluegrass and all music! May you be Blessed with Wonderful, Happy, Healthy, Purposeful, Safe and Fun lives with your music as your soundtrack!
I have been watching the Tuttles with AJ for well over a decade. You can find a clip of her here on RUclips from a very early age. Sully’s fingers fly as fast and well as Molly’s. Aissa J. Lee.
Gillian Welch could write a song. But the drive that y’all play this with is fabulous. Perfect guitar solo and the fills by Scott, whew! Oh, and Jan and AJ are always perfect.
Been following AJ since she was a little girl. She has truly grown into a tremendously talented musician. Great voice and musical ability. I have always enjoyed her voice.
Just enjoyed this so much ! Glad to hear the blonde mandolin sounds so pure and seems to cut through very loud . The entire group of players are top notch . Dont forget Sullivan Tuttle. Great skill !
Blew the roof off in Jim Thorpe tonight with that encore. Keep up the good work guys. Be sure to come back as soon as you can....wink..wink..Greyfox Fest. God bless and safe travels.
was that Jim Thorpe, PA ? omg I missed it if it was in PA…. come back to MusikFest ! echo that mandolin off the mountains at the end of the lehigh valley
@@williamwarrenconkright3973 I was there, too - amazing concert at a great venue. Jim Thorpe is indeed in Pa. Wouldn't be great if they were at MusikFest!
Ok so I’m tearing along the road with this gem of a song at full blast and I hear a siren - at which point I slow right down and turn down the volume : no police car. No ambulance. So I replay the song for the seventh time - volume back up - then I hear the siren ON THE TAPE 😆. Such a good recording I 100% agree with your decision to leave it in - adds to the atmosphere! 👍💜💜
I love this group, A, J, Lee is a very talented - Super Beautiful 🌹 lady. Hope they will be singing n playing for many years to come..... Wish I could meet this beautiful - talented Lady. Wish her and her family all the best......
Tear my stillhouse down is the old school version of erase my browser history. The more things change ...
Good job on the song!

Some mighty fine fiddling by Jan Purat! My former fiddle teacher. Thank you Jan!
Indeed.

She amazed me at age 11 when I first became aware of her. Now there are not adequate words.
Oh shit, I was waiting for that bass to kick in. And when it did, hell yeah brother!
A great song by Gillian Welch. Also recorded by Nashville Bluegrass Band. A powerful song and a nicely done cover. My hat's off to this fine group.
This great version of this song captures the sound of acoustic Bluegrass guitar the way it's supposed to sound: Mean and dirty.
the timing is unreal
Best camera work ever...
Split screen and slow motion was awesome
They are as good as it gets.
Great tune. Nice pickin’
Best version of this song.
The A-Team of bluegrass! Hope you can make it to Houston one day
This group is unstoppable 👏
Exclusive so good to hear from them life goes on lucky enough we can get a chance to hear about life abig journey
This song was featured on KXCI 91.3 in Tucson
Fucking sick song. Best rendition out there. Chorus is heavy hitting for a bluegrass ensemble.
Love how they kick this song into gear and just drive it to the end.
Just enjoyed this so much !

Is Sully related to Molly? Siblings, and kids with the famous Jack as dad? Holy smoke, what talent.
Molly's brother.

My favourite bluegrass artist! Sounds great👍
Go AJ, you keep getting better!
It's so cool that they chose Eva Cassidy's version, long my favorite, and slayed it, owned it 100%. Loved this and love the Petersens! ❤

🙄Smooth as a sip...😎😋
Look at how fast they make it
Was the siren deliberate?
This is great! Will this be on Spotify?
Forrest rocks the bass best 🙊🙉🙈
A.J. has always kept a stable full of geetar pickers
I didn't realize 1989 Steve Jobs played Mando!
What's not to like :-)
Could use a bit louder fiddle in the mix. In the back not near a mic. Just sayin.
Very lil enthusiasim
If Patsy Cline was alive, she might be intimidated
That face looks too innocent to sing songs of alcoholism
