personally I love late 80s-90s dirt bikes simple solid and look tough as nails.
i think its the flat seats on new bikes and tiny plastic tanks.
but when you're cold wet and tired and you stall in a bad spot you thank dear god for that sweet push button start

i watch this video every day, i like the XT 600.Damn im dreaming about one XT 600, two of my friends have a xt 600, one is tenere and oh boy they are cool bikes. Sure i can find one on the market but the main problem is the finances, i hope to find funds to buy this old gold machine)

Hi . My friend have XT600 1983 i Have Aprilia RX 1991 six days .. we ride tugether every summer time weekends ... Old Dirtbike old CB radios .. that us time vehicles ..in south of Poland Mountain like a Covboys in Western :)

I loved my XT600, but it had the worst rear suspension of any bike I ever owned. As far as I could tell it had a falling rate shock linkage. I was going to try to put a tt swingarm in it when it was cruelly murdered by a Toyota corolla
Man, I love my Yamaha xt600E to bits :) ... which country is this where your offroading? looks great, with not too much mud and lots of off-the-beaten path options. Here in the Netherlands, we don't have any real wilderness just a bunch of muddy Trax ...me no likey the mud riding.

XT600 was best bike i ever had. Very reliale, can fixed on ide of the road... Beat the hell out of it and kept on asking for more. Wish I still had it... and a suitable place to ride it. Would I change anything about it? Yea. Id bring it back into production.
What age did you start riding bikes bc im 15 and want to start riding bikes, my dad has a xt600 and wants to give it to me

Stock petrol tank really slim on the 43F, but 15l in the 2kf and slim too. Smoother Carburator on the 2kf, but more "powerful" feeling on the 43F with different Gearbox and primary transmission.
You're right. Almost same. But if you compare immediatly, it feels very different. I like both. (And my 5Y1, XT550) ;-)

lol they're great bike but are they really vintage lol , more like Claasic bikes
Old but extremely reliable and relatively easy to repair if you find the parts though. Can't count how many times newer bikes from friends have broken down on rides while my 20yr old XT600 kept on going. Having no electronics helps.
