  • We really love the deep sound of this system, It is perfect the way it is, Just a bit of tone over stock, but I bet with some other pipes this would be the prefect set up.

    Sounds almost exactly like the stock exhaust. A side by side comparison would be interesting

      My beef with the stock exhaust is the valve closes above about 20mph and goes very quiet unless you're WOT, this still has the pass through open 100% of the time (well one of them anyhow) So stock exhaust at idle always sounds kinda raspy to me. Plus it's hard to tell what something sounds like using headphones or phone speakers or whatever you're using to watch youtube.

      @therealsnow 8 месяцев назад +1

      Now I got the exhaust on my car, I can maybe do a comparo video, I did some inside recordings before and after. It's definitely louder, a little bit at idle but certainly at crusing speeds.

    I appreciate these videos. A little bit of installation, a little bit of demonstration. The only other thing I would like to see but I know it's difficult are dyno results.

      Yea Dyno time is costly and always time for planning and Scheduleing with the dyno down the street - gets very hard , wish we could

    It just needs a resonator delete to help with the loudness. Deep tone is there but needs more pitch. Otherwise I would buy since it’s the best looking on the market imo.

    I just saw the new HKS legamax for GR Corolla... I would to hear how the sounds on the GR. With cold start, in cabin and drive pull. I may get the Apexi N1... But hopefully you guys can get a hand on the HKS brand too

    • @k13scdude
      @k13scdude 10 месяцев назад

      @@Speedindustry I'm not too sure if the dual side exhaust will effect the performance of the GR Corolla, since it was design with 3 exhaust tips (center and two duals) not sure if HKS will create less pressure performance. But mainly wanting to hear how it sounds - cold start, interior and few drive by with sport mode on

    Fitment good as far as install goes but the exhaust tips are not sitting right. Too high on the right side.
    Sound is meh. I guess it's more livable and conservative which may be a better route. Often these 4 cylinder car exhausts are very boomy.

      I wonder what it would sound like without the resonator. I don't want drone in a daily driver so a no go for me but might be an option for some.

  • @sreyes1103
    @sreyes1103 9 месяцев назад +1

    Does this sound louder on the inside and out compared to the oem exhaust?

    • @therealsnow
      @therealsnow 8 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah it's louder, I just got it installed on my car today, the main thing is the stock exhaust gets quiet over 17mph when the center exhaust tip valve closes, this one you can hear at all times, which is exsactly what I wanted. It sounds like a good sports exhaust without being obnoxious.

    • @therealsnow
      @therealsnow 10 месяцев назад +1

      Have you even been in one of these cars? The stock exhaust is NOT quiet at idle, so saying this is the same volume at idle as the stock system isn't saying much. The main thing I dislike about the stock exhaust is the bypass valve closes above 20mph and it DOES get quiet then, at least with this one of them is open at all times.
