First off great bike and lots of hard work you put into it. Second shout out to your wife! That is definitely a real woman. Hell yeah brother
Thanks! She's the best wife I could ever ask for😁
I love it! Enjoy riding HER!
Beautiful work! Smart man going with the air bags instead of springs gotta be much more comfortable an no bouncing around like springs do. Just a clean classic bobber...👍
Love a Sporty! partial to them really. like your bobber style!
Thanks!
Bro holy shit.... God bless the blown puston!!!!!!!! You've created a masterpiece!!!!!
That came out ROCKIN!!
Thanks! It's the only bike I plan on keeping forever.
I’m proud of you too brother!! It looks beautiful!!!
Thanks for the support!
NikI gotta say that you done good. I'm not a fan of straight pipes (robs horsepower).. Let's not forget about the Indian, that's what hooked me to your channel, yes I ride a Harley, but there's more bikes out there than HD...,
The Indian isn't forgotten, winter just kept her in. I got the 2 hondas in the shop right now🤪
That's a good-looking bike you've done a good job. I don't think we live just too far apart maybe I'll see it in person sometime.
Thanks! I'm hoping to get the bike out to some events this season, if you see me say hi.
You are a proper dude, mate !
Thanks
Fine job sir!
Thanks for the support!
Greetings from North STL County.
Awesome job! One of the coolest Sportsters ever!
Thanks!
I've been tossing around the idea of building a sportster chopper. I currently working on a Triumph chopper that I've had for over 31 years. She's almost ready. Just welded an oil tank from Lowbrow. First weld job that I've ever done.
Awesome, feel free to share it with me on Instagram
@@STLNik I also have a video or 2 on youtube
I’m starting a Low Brow gas box frame build and that’s what brought me here. I was looking at other build similar to what I want. Great job man and keep up the awesome content.
Awesome, feel free to share your progress with me on Instagram. Best of luck on your build journey
I'm not man enough to ride a hardtail but man, I sure respect your doing all that work yourself. Even the paint, very cool. Truly impressive. We have two things in common, we love our Sportsters and Shinko 777 wide-whitewalls. Your bike looks great. I am wondering what jugs you went with, 883, 1200, 1250.
I put 883 jugs on. It was the cheapest way to get a blown motor back on the road.
WELL WELL WELL......what do we have here? Looks amazing. you had a vision on what you wanted that only you could see. you put that vision out there in the world for everyone to gaze upon. You sell yourself short sometimes on your welding abilities, yet I've seen you grow and you do an amazing job. "All in all", excellent work!!!! I even made the bonus features lol. 😃🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much for your help and support. This project wouldn't have gotten off the ground without you.
It looks awesome great job👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks!
Great bike dude! Greetings from Costa Rica Pura vida! Keep doing this project and film 👍🏼
Thanks for watching!
Good job my man! 🤙🏻
I’m so proud of you. You did a great job I knew you could do it. But honestly it turned out way nicer than I expected. Not because I doubted your abilities, but because it looks so much better than a lot of the choppers you’ve showed me that other people have built. This one is a keeper 🔥 Good job 🥰 excited to see the next one 😉
Thank you for pushing me to build the bike I always wanted!
@@STLNik always will 😘
Wow amazing Job!!!!👍👍
Thanks
Nice work dude! Building one myself similar. Custom Paint is my main gig. Just a lil tip for future you can use a 2k 2part clear coat in a can. It will harden and be fuel resistant and sand and polish like auto clear. Car rep 2k it’s called. Cheers!
pretty similar to how im building my iron head!
Looks sick man !
Thanks
Hopefully you have added a oil cooler... I've seen many of them along with 5 speed bikes trying to run with the 6 speeds have failure
No cooler at this time, but I did upgrade the jugs and heads to big fins for better cooling
Bike looks awesome!! Nice job 👍
Fucking pimpin! Looks great!
Damn nice job!!
dude love this bike! cannot wait to build my 2nd sporty, defiantly doing a black springer frontend and white walls !
Only issue is keeping those white walls clean!
I love 120 Iowa Ave, Belleville, IL!
Good job man,
Thanks!
Very cool build.
💯🫵🏼👍🏼🫡👊🏼✌🏼🇳🇱
Nice build
Great looking build man. I hope it’s riding as good as it’s looking. It looks like your rear brake line goes from the master cylinder straight down across the opening of your exhaust. Are you worried about that at all? Keep up the awesome work. I’m going to be checking your other videos out now!
The bike preforms wonderfully, it did end up getting a different exhaust put on it. Thanks for watching I hope you enjoy😉
It's bad ass when you have the knowledge of wrenching you're own.
Yes i no how to spell (your).
I didn't have the knowledge. I study, I practiced and most importantly I failed. Failure is the best teacher
Great job!!
Thanks!
Nice job
Thank you
@@STLNik welcome , just subscribed
Nice man!!
What height are those bars? That bike came out so clean im working on a similar build and like those bars. Thanks man.
Thanks! Theyre 14in springer apes from tcbros.com
Looks so sick!! Great job. Roundabout how much did the project run if you don't mind my asking? Only wondering because I'm wanting to do something very similar. Thanks
About $3k in parts because I had to rebuild the engine too
@@STLNik Okay cool, thanks for the reply! Yeah that's about what I figured as well. I'm gonna try an get a sporty for under 3,500 so I can have some room for parts!
Came out awesome man. I'm doing a similar project right now. What size front end did you use and wheel? I like the stance. Keep up the great work!
Thanks! I kept a stock length springer with a 19in wheel.
What year is your bike and where were you able to find the weld on hardtail rear section ?
This one is a 99. I used a tc bros hardtail. Led sled customs, tc bros, lowbrow customs, throttle addiction, all have quality hardtail kits
I welded a wood fender onto my bike with a stick or whatever
I got baseball cards with wooden clothes-pins on mine. I took the tassles off the handlebars, I ain't no sissy.
hi man, great looking bike. 1 question, you had to do chain conversion cuz hardtail is stretched a little bit?
also what was the starting bike, i know its a sportster but witch one? :D thanks
They sell longer belts but the chain just looks right on a hardtail
I believe it was a hugger. When I bought it used it was pretty much stripped so I'm not certain
@@STLNik agreed 100%!
👍👍🙏🙏🏆🏆😎😎
Is it true that green bikes are bad luck?
No idea. I'm bad luck, I could get slapped with a dick in a pussy storm🤣
@@STLNik Hmm, smells like rain...
🤣
Would of been nice to see the bike , save your selfies for the dinnef table !
Cool bike, it turned out Great! I has got to feel good to get it done! I'm getting close to completing my build. #joebobsgarage
I'm at the point where I'm fine tuning things. Every couple hundred miles I seem to tweek things just a touch more. I'll have to go check out your build 😉
Nice work bro
Thanks
Nice job
