- When the walls seem to be crumbling around you, sometimes the best thing to do is get away from it all and go fishing. But not just any fishing...Cameraman Richy takes his passionate fishing family - his fiancée, Paulina, and his son, Jack - for an adventure far north to Cree River Lodge, one of the finest fisheries in the world for huge pike! There, they try to crush some personal bests, get some 40" plus monster northern pike, go fly fishing, check off the stunning arctic grayling, and take in the wilderness of northern Saskatchewan.

Jack had my 56 year old ass crying too. All the monsters fish I have lost over the years all came back to my memory. I have also caught countless monsters. The dreaded feeling of losing them is horrible.
Congrats on catching that monster. Some people fish their whole lives and never catch their monster.

Wicked I'd love to go there to catch jacks!! Caught a big one be4 just one but hasn't bin the same since. Little pike aint the same you'll always wanna reel in that monster jack hahaha great video n congrats to the little guy..
The biggest pike we have caught was 46.5 inches and 30 pounds
You think any of those broke 20 pounds
For sure, one they get to the mid 40" mark with good girth they will be over 20 lbs.

@@isaiahpeterson7032 we generally release the big pike we catch here, and can't spear in Saskatchewan, but it would be interesting to try I'm sure!
