In the anime Vegeta acknowledged gohan as a saiyan warrior when fighting the robot universe. It was so cool because he recognizes gohan and how strong he is living up to his potential. Need more gohan Vegeta interactions
this should have been gohan's motivation from the beginning to get stronger not just out of excitement like his father but to make sure his family and friends stay safe. Also we all know vegeta deep down is proud of gohan in his own way
Yeah, him not liking fighting is poor character development. He of all people should the universe is a dangerous place and should've learned about the importance of keeping his strength to maintain peace.

He can't react at all. He just growls like a rabid beast since he has no rational thought. Anilaza, on the other hand, can also laugh menacingly aside from the beastly growls (Geheheheheheh...).
