Theoretically goku and vegeta are capable of shooting protons (energy) that have been stored up in there bodies. Gohan actually explains everything in the episode where he teaches videl to fly. I don’t understand why everyone ignores that episode. It was probably the most educated episode in the entire series.

He wants to beat Goku one on one with his own power with no tricks or gimmicks, only then will he feel like he’s truly won.

Almost like a show that collective actions are stronger than individual. a theme dragon ball has struggled to show in many meaningful ways besides the spirit bomb and fusion. You probably don't want to hear "friendship wins" but fuck off, friendship wins, Vegeta might have won that battle if he didn't discard Nappa like trash. Almost like literature has themes and ignoring them to support your favorite character for "winning a fight" is way to immature for a man as bald as you to be doing.

Goku Could have killed kid buu in one shot but chose to "play" around with buu because he wanted vegeta to get a chance. And majin vegeta is stronger than ss2 vegeta.
You know, the one thing I've never found consistent in DBZ is how these punches clashing with each other should result in the environment being devastated but even decades later, this is still not the case. When you're young and still a kid in your teenage years, you don't really think about this because everything is still fresh in your head but after a while, you expect certain things to change within the medium but alas, you never see it. It's one of the biggest breaks of immersion.
There's also some AI I'm pretty sure Edit: nvm it sounded like AI for a min but I realized he probably used something to where you get the voices only and removed background noises.
whats funny with vegetas dialogue here is that whenever vegeta catches up with goku, goku couldnt beat him in fact goku has never won a single 1 on 1 match with vegeta

All it would take to greatly improve Sparking! Zero's Custom Battles like this would be voiced dialogue. I don't understand why they would just choose text with all the various Dragon Ball content to draw voices from.
Daima really gave us a super weird ss3 variant. I prefer classic fan art ss3 vegeta but he didn't ever need ss3, he skipped it and went to ss4. Looked awesome too. Id like to see a ss3 ultra ego or something. Seeing ss3 blue goku was awesome. Interesting how just changing colors can change something completely
SSJ 2 and 3 were definitely the best forms, nothing tops Goku going SSJ3 for the first time, hope Vegeta gets another shot, feel like he was robbed with his bleak SSJ3 day view.
