    @postsaverltd what temperature should the hot air gun be?
    I see someone asked the same question but got given the answer 2000kw - I’m talking oC or oF temperature, thanks in advance!

    Hi I have a hot air gun as a paint stripper can I use this for the wrap

      Hi Dan yes hot air gun is fine as long as it is 2kw and you are only doing a few posts as it is slower than blow torch. Hope this helps. Richard

      Pro-Sleeves can be installed in all the usual ways and there is no issue when using it with concrete. Hope this helps!

    What about the bottom of the post?

      Hi Liam Deeper in the ground the likelihood of decay is around 8 to 10 times less than at the ground line due to lack of oxygen, nutrients etc so wood preservative more than adequate to provide protection here.

    So why not just paint the post in bitumen?

    • @PostsaverLtd
      @PostsaverLtd  2 года назад +2

      Hi Tom, unfortunately over time posts can warp and crack, meaning the surface of the bitumen paint can break leaving the post open to fungi and decay. We've added a thermoplastic outer layer to protect against exactly this. The Pro-Sleeve also removes drying time and is a clean process from application to installation. We hope this answers your question!
