This looks so phenomenal, really amazing job! Those little touches to each part really push this over the edge from a basic figure to an excellent display piece!
Chris, I wanted to say that you are amazing at what you do. I'm 17 months sober off of heroin and all drugs and still trying to find things that I love to do. getting clean makes it hard to find joy in things because I simply forgotten what I like. Your videos have truly inspired me to start drawing and painting again and try other forms of art. Thank you for helping me get my passion and imagination for creating things back.
this video is awesome! I've watched a few of your other videos and this was the last one to push me to subscribe! i'm thinking of starting some customs myself and this video has inspired me to try this. i think i'll try with the 12 in first just cause they're a lot cheaper
Ok. I have to admit that at first I thought it was a little extravagant and over the top but I was wrong. What you've done just rocks. I have the original and now wish I had the skills to do what you have. Excellent job.
Dude- this is amazing! I couldn't imagine being able to do something that looks this great! Very impressed with your work, man. That is a world class custom! Major kudos!
+Jarv/HD Thanks man! Believe me I would love to have moved the belt but there is a massive grove in the body where it slots in so it had to stay put :(
I like how they took the time to mold in all that beautiful detail, but then painted it with that dull flat grey.. lol.. The shoe polish worked great though. just that little bit of painting and it made it look ten times more authentic!
Hey Chris. Just got my fabric for my 31 inch Jakks Pacific Batman. I was wondering if you could tell me the dimensions of the cape and the template for the collar. I'd really appreciate it.
John Flickster sent me here . . . And I'm glad he did! This tutorial is amazing! I'm honestly stunned by how incredible this figure looks! You're extremely talented at making custom figures! :D
+Omar Dara we don't have magpies where I live. we have grackels and crazy bomber birds that somehow nail the second floor window of where I went to high school and the way the window was made it impossible for it to do so but somehow it did.
rewatchin this every time. and in Netherlands we also have almost nothing bvs related. no figures no jacks pacific only massive star wars toys. we don't even have marvel legends where I live.
Thank you so much! Because of you I was able to do my own custom Batman and he turned out amazing. He's not the 3ft tall one but still pretty big and your tips and suggestions made it look amazing! You sir are one of my heroes.
The final shots look almost like the real thing. I jumped back to the beginning to remind myself how plain the paint was before. Also, shoe polish works wonders.
The makeover looks so good that at 17:24 I legit thought that It was the real Batffleck standing in the background, staring menacingly in the distance!
Amazing! I just recently came across your channel and the amount of detail and effort you put in your work made me subscribe right away! Keep up this AMAZING work !!
I like to imagine that at 16:44 the Before picture is from a time when Batman first appeared in Gotham, years and years before BVS: idealistic, eager, inspired, maybe even naive. And the After picture is from the present BVS: cynical, detached, cold, weathered. Great work Chris, keep it up!
Great job with that plether cape - thanks for the top tip on Selley's polypropylene primer + glue set, Chris. Also it's great to see another leftie getting creative + making stuff! We're a rare bunch.
Hahah, this is the video that got me to subscribe to your channel. That Batfleck makeover is just absolutely spot on and it really proves just how much one can improve any figure so long as the mold has potential - and it inspires me to do something similar. Keep up the awesome work!
nice channel, glad i stumbled upon it. you're doing the same thing hard core model railroaders do to trains. glad someone has got this type of art work finnally noticed, train guys have been doing it for years.

I hope you're still clean and staying creative!

I like how they took the time to mold in all that beautiful detail, but then painted it with that dull flat grey.. lol.. The shoe polish worked great though. just that little bit of painting and it made it look ten times more authentic!
