@@Wooshey_Wooj It would make sense to me. Make the normal storyboard, then cut out a portion of the frames throughout and add the lines over as if it were a VHS tape. It plays at "normal" speed, but due to missing frames it appears like it's moving faster.
It wouldn’t be the same without John Witherspoon, he was integral to the series. The reboot’s cancellation didn’t surprise me

I would have still preferred they went through with it so long as they learned from season 4. Plus Witherspoon's son who sounds just like him wanted to do the role but they stupidly rejected him.

Not really "basically" at all because Django Unchained was satirical too said western tropes and tried subverting them in the movie as Tarantino regularly does in his films in unique clever intelligent ways. This story that Grandpa was saying, while very cool and stylized, was played out like your regular hollywood action movie that doesn't subvert anything. That's why Riley was calling the story cliche as it didn't do anything new. Still very cool tho.

It's a big bummer that The Boondocks revival series got canceled. I mean, first there's The Venture Bros, then there's Final Space and now The Boondocks revival. I mean, what the heck is going on?
At least The Venture Bros is finally getting a movie and yet, all fans of Final Space are still fighting to help the get the show revived by Adult Swim, even I'm helping all of the Final Space fans.
I really hope that The Boondocks revival comes back in another form or something. Oh and I blame Sony for it.

I think the reboot's cancellation has more to do with HBO Max than Sony, seeing as how Sony is apparently fishing around for other options. HBO Max probably shelved it because of issues with recasting John Witherspoon as Granddad (and possibly Regina King as Huey and Riley) or because the kind of humor that The Boondocks needs to have in order to work may just be too potentially controversial for HBO Max to want to deal with in the modern socio-political climate. Final Space lives on, sort of, as a VR game that might get follow-ups, and maybe the goodwill Olan Rogers gathered from Final Space will allow him to continue it in another medium, or get a new animated series made based on his fantasy short, The Lion's Blaze.

And while Olan does have plans for the future of the Final Space franshise and his other animated series, he's still on the road from one state to another around the whole country of America to spread his comedy to everyone. Even though Final Space is getting more graphic novels and games, fans still demand a fourth season.

I may be in the minority of opinion, but I think the reboot should have gone forward without John Witherspoon... hear me out.
Acknowledge it in the show, pay respect to him and the character of granddad; show the boys, tom and his wife, jasmine, rukus, etc at his funeral. Have them all talk about him and what he meant, what he did, his legacy and influence. Maybe make it a whole episode or weave the theme of grief through the whole season. Show the boys moving in with another family member, thay way there's no question of trying to replace him.

I kinda would like a spin-off series about Catcher Freeman. I don't care that he's a piece of fiction engineered by Granddad Freeman and his ancestors to conceal their shameful ancestry, Catcher Freeman is such an interesting blend of folk hero, tragic Western hero, the vengeful Dumas-esque _surhomme_ dandy, the proto-superhero and Blaxpoitation hero in the vein of John Henry, Zorro, the Count of Monte-Cristo, Batman, Superman, Tarantino's Django Freeman, John Shaft, Dynamite, Black Dynamite and Black Panther.
I'd legit watch a movie like this, tbh.
