something was just so rich about season 1 and 2, the unique story plots that dint hold back punches, the way huey narrated things during the events, for some reason all that felt different at season 3 i dont know how to explain it but in my opinion the show truely ended after season 2 despite season 3 and 4 existing.

For example you have Korean animes, Chinese animes, and in this case, American animes. Boondocks specifically had a manga before it became a show, so it’s an anime
@@lifeline.6144 Actually the show was animated by Madhouse initially, which is a big time Japanese anime shop. Had other shops over the years, but all were in the traditional Japanese anime industry. McGruder wanted it to have the anime look and they were able to actually get those shops involved which is amazing, rare and probably won't happen again. But everything about the initial seasons of the series was top notch - professionally. And while it might be more obvious today, the "hood" has a ton of anime fans going back decades because the stories were less censored and more realistic which fits the Boondocks perfectly.
