Y, para mí, tener que usar el propio aparato para editar los patches es muy incómodo. Eso, sumado a que se pierden algunas opciones de uso del pedal de expresión hace que prefiera no tener esos nuevos efectos. Por cierto, resetear a valores de fábrica no elimina los efectos nuevos, así que hay que volver a flashear la unidad con el firmware original.

@@javierreyes317 cambia a otro puerto USB en el ordenador, y si no se arregla, cambia de cable. Al presionar los botones, debes conectar el cable y se enciende el aparato poniendo en la pantalla que está en modo actualización. Asegúrate de que pone eso antes de intentar actualizar. Luego, mientras se está actualizando, en la pantalla te va poniendo también el progreso de actualización. Todo el proceso no tarda más de un minuto. La mayoría de estos problemas es por culpa del cable.
The hardware of the G1ON and G1XON seems the same. I have the G1ON (no expression pedal but the onboard connections for it), i would like to update to the G1XON so i can use the PEDAL functionality. Do you think that with this firmware update i can use de PEDAL functionality connecting the onboard jumpers of my G1ON to a potentiometer or whatever?
Ren Obdianela The .exe file is just a wrapper for a firmware file inside (usually with extension .bin) that gets uploaded to the device. If we could get access to that file then we can create a MacOS executable

It comes with 100 effects out of the box; 22 Amp models, 11 Dynamic/ Filters, 12 OD& Dist, 16 Modulations&Special Effects, 14 Delays& Reverb, 5 Pedals. After updating the "official" Zoom G1on/Xon V 1.21 it added 25ish effects i believe and with this modified update it added 38.
@@migui9683 Thanks. Today bought an G1xon (same with exp pedal) and put inside it 158 effects total LOL using the Zoom Effects Manager (stripping out the drum samples to make room too). This device is awesome.. so cheap and sounding so good. Impressive.
@@migui9683 I mean this thing is quite impressive. Right now im in the process of making an add footswitch using the exp pedal switch, which you can use as an stomp on/off on any patch too. So many hidden treasures on this absurdly cheap unit :D

you should be plugged in an amp or speaker to hear output. G1xon's does not have audio interface capabilities

The firmware update is an .exe Windows file. What about MacOS? ToneLib has a Mac version so it should be possible
