So I have already went through the installation of Windows Vista, however when I checked the themes, there was no option for Windows Aero and the W.E.I was 1.0. Do you know if there is a fix for this?

i didn't use the download manager and it took a bit, but i don't know how big the difference would be with it, prob should've used it...

It's not activated. But you can still use the OS as long as you want.

Is there a way to get Aero enabled?
With your VM off go to the settings then display and make sure that the graphics adapter is set to VBoxSVGA and 3D acceleration is checked. Now bump the video memory to 256mb. In vista go to control panel > personalization > window color and appearance then select Windows Aero as the color scheme. Note that the performance of the VM will probably slow down quite a bit.

If You Download Windows 8 Developer Preview 32-Bit With Free Download Manager Then It Would Take Much Less Time Than Vista 64-Bit With The Same App

I didn't know this was 1 year ago so I didn't install windows vista anymore idk what post is this I forgot tho so
But I think it's due to setting generation newer which is UEFI Vista doesn't support use the Bios instead not UEFI
