The only thing different that I did was to use heat shrink wrap over the connection. The reason I used the heat shrink wrap to assure over time nothing will come loose.
Great idea and consideration too. My guess is if it ever did leak, a propane, sniffer/detector with still function well. And then, of course obviously just the smell alone. Thanks for the suggestion.
