    The Dash Mini Egg Bite Maker works even better since it is a little deeper. Just scrambled 2 eggs, perfect! Thanks for the suggestion!

    I love these dash products. I have several in my RV where I escape to on the weekends. With the Texas heat reaching in the 100’s. These griddles don’t produce much heat with makes it great in the RV.

    These videos are great. To be honest my mini griddle is the brand Walmart sells. But seems to work just like yours. I paid $8.98 for it.

    At the risk of sounding like an idiot, I didn’t even notice that the blue light goes off. The sun shines right where I use it (does that make it a little better lol). Thanks for this! Today will be scrambled and dry!! Have a good day!!

    • @CounterCooking
      @CounterCooking  3 года назад +1

      Yes. It can be hard to see when the light is on or off. I often have to shade the area with my hand to tell if it's on or not.

    Here is Microwave Omelet. I have a 4 inch Silicone Muffin Cup, put some ham pieces in silicone cup, add some shredded cheese, stir in 2 eggs, microwave 3 minutes. Looks like a muffin but it is a Ham & Cheese Omelet, has become my preferred way to cook eggs.

      This channel is not about microwave cooking. I never use a microwave.

    I like using the griddle for scrambled and over easy eggs but I have to agree with other commenters about the egg bite maker. It’s a slightly larger griddle as wall as good for making egg bites!

    I add a dash of baking powder. Not soda powder to my eggs and they fluff up beautifully. But I haven’t tried water before. I’ll definitely give it a shot. Looks yummy.

    It seems the griddle could even be unplugged before the egg is completely done since it continues to cook!

    I get impatient when my spatula doesn’t pickup so easily and I usually just hold the lid and tip it and let it slide out🤣🤣…not the safest but it usually works. The spatulas are a bit too thick and inflexible for some things. I bought a second spatula and sometimes I use them together for scooping and scraping things out of my minis since tipping my griddle adds even more food to the grooves. Great demo!

    I have this original size but wanting to get the 8”. Better for me in heating tortillas and bread slices.
    I use my little one every morning - pre-cooked bacon torn to fit, then fry an egg. I wipe out most of the bacon fat, then put the egg. QUICK and no pans to wash. Love it!

    • @CounterCooking
      @CounterCooking  2 месяца назад

      I think the 8" is a better size for cooking at home. The problem with mine is that the non-stick coating seems to have lost some of its non-stickness.

    I hadn’t thought to use like regular griddle, I just drop the top so it ends up more like omelette I guess.

    I got this to cook my eggs soon it’ll be here on Wednesday. I just got it from Amazon. I bought from Amazon the Hamilton Beach sandwich maker well most the time the egg runs out of the middle so I thought this little dash is going to make my scrambled egg real good And then I can do the rest of the sandwich and the cheese and the sausage and spinach or the tomato or whatever I’m doing in the sandwich maker and just put my egg on my sandwich not have it run out all over so I have two little units to make breakfast but that’s OK. We often have toasters and skillets and whatever else so I don’t think it’s that bad and I get the ones that are returned. I think my griddle it’s costing me $11 in my sandwich maker cost me 15 so not bad.

    It is hard on the cordto plug/unplug the Dash... Better to buy a plug-in switch... I bought a pack of three from Amazon last week... Now when I'm finished, flip the switch & save the cord...

      Added: I leave my Dash plugged into the switch and pull the switch when I'm finished and everything is cooled. Nice presentation, but I would have loved it if you had also shown how much power it took from your portable generator to accomplish the cooking.

    • @CounterCooking

      It’s a 350 watt appliance which means it uses 350 watts per hour. That means it uses about 6 watts per minute. 5 minutes = 30 watts.

      I’m not a fan of the nonstick surface. However, they have held up good. Except for the air fryer. I had to replace that one because it chipped.
