This guy has the right attitude for Asia.
Pete's the kind of lad that makes me want to visit Ireland just to have a pint with him. Keep it coming, homie!
Cyber Security is SUPER important !!
Yes it is not that long ago since divorce was against the law in Ireland. Thankfully it is legalised for those that need it!!!! Really like your videos, Pete😊
cheers buddy thanks for watching
Good to see you again
This is a good one !
Absolutely fascinating interview!
glad you liked it mate
Brilliant vlogger covering useful and varied subjects, so unlike the rest that just tend to visit bars and restaurants, that they usually have some sort of beneficial interest in. 👍
In the Philippines if you marry in the Philippines but you had previously married and divorced outside the Philippines, you can subsequently marry in the philippines. And even if you did marry in the Philippines you can subsequently pay to have an annulment. It costs something like 1 or 2 thousand $US.
That some right story on losing all ! 3 years being played ! Crazy. Wonder is Carl worried about his own safety in PI in such a business...
Thanks Pete, nice video, good work.
Thanks Alex!
Re balut: "...it's not like cheesecake." Give that guy a gold star or something:)
I most certainly hope not, I actually like cheesecake
Great bloke, look forward to him coming back on your channel Pete, well done 👍
yes mate, i'm sure he'll have more interesting stories as his business develops
The virtual world can be scary! Obviously, this is a service that is in demand!
great idea for a business in SEA
Check out the episode on locked up abroad was adultery situation in the Philippines
I only found one Philippino restaurant in nyc. The food was fried sausage with egg, fried sausage with rice, fried sausage surprise etc etc.. no wonder my phillipino co workers were all dying from BP and diabetes.....
All of that is healthy, guranteed the problem is they wash it down with a coke. Third worlders love coca-cola we know this 😂
Peter, it is an overwhelmingly a catholic country. It unlike Ireland has not tried to completely drift into modernity in moral terms, This is likely to ultimately change in the Phillipines.. various efforts to introduce divorce have occurred.
Cheers buddy
It's not that divorce is "illegal", but it is very very difficult, time consuming, expensive, and completely dependent on the personal objectivity of the residing judge during an "annulment" proceeding. Adultery however IS "illegal and could get both offenders serious jail time and have fun with that in the Philippines no matter how much money you have or how much of an influencer you think you might be ;-)
When an "anullment fee" is paid (in advance), it is guaranteed.
@@graerindley6312 No, absolutely not and most annulments are NEVER passed.
I've lived here in the Philippines for years now, and I slept with a married (separated) Filipina last night. 😁
You naughty boy🤭
I'm not an expert at all but I think it is a Catholic thing....annulment is ok but takes time and lots of money~ (Phils)
An announcement in the Philippines costs less than $2000 but you've got to know how to talk your way into it, otherwise it will cost much more.
I'm not necessarily for or against marriage but I can't see the point of it if you can just "end it", if you're gonna commit to it then commit, if it's illegal to divorce you might not have so many people rushing into it
Some people like to express their commitment of love formally, and in a ceremony in front of the loved ones.
There's an episode of Banged up Abroad where an English guy went to prison cos his girlfriend was still married to someone else......
Why would he go to prison?
That really was a horror story he ended up being locked up and chased by gunmen etc I found it convenient that it all helped her asylum application for the uk after. The man went through hell for sure but looking at the big picture I think it could all have been set up by his gf and her family. He got milked and she ended up with a uk passport and around every turn in the story her family knew someone who could fix issues for a price. It was all a bit fishy to say the least and he wasn't the sharpest tool in the box.
Why did u remove the Thai Talk with Dan’s BLACK WIDOW video?
Probably defamation threats?
@@clivebaxter6354 thanks but how about THAIRISH TIMES answering the question himself ???!!!!
@@sebastianniqvist3144 But he did not did he, you had the answer
If you go on dating sites assume people are not who they say they are especially in Asia. Never send money to people you meet on line. Go to Asia in person if you meet someone you like for more than short term go visit their family. Always assume they have kids. Most Asians if they are young and don't have kids will not get involved in a large gap age difference relationships, as they know that will make them undesirable if they want to be with an Asian. Most of the women that foreigners meet have kids and that makes them less desirable to Asian men, that and the money foreigners are willing to waste on them is what makes them get in a long term relationship with a foreigner you are basically paying for someone else's kids.
Like the mug. Good way to gain subscribers!🤣
Just a bit of banter pal
@@ThairishTimes I took it that way - no worries.
Divorce is illegal in the Philippines because the Catholic church is deeply entrenched in the government . Being 90% of the politicians are practicing Catholics, it explains their hold on the country. It also prevents the Philippines from passing legislation to protect the LGBT community. And also prevents marriage for all.
Catholic church simple as that mate like ireland in the sixties mate need i say more😮😮
Nice Headphones, Guy! But, just one question: What are those dual pink lights, one on each side of your head? I mean... Are those some sort of TURN SIGNALS, or something? Nice!
lol pretty sure it’s the jabra evolve2 65
They measure your IQ 🕶
Whats the point of "coming up"…? 😊
This thing called the catholic church Pete, living in Ireland you're probably not familiar with it🙄
Mate you say your mind is blown but for the exact same reason divorce was only legalized in IRELAND in 1996.
I was 9 years old in 96. Ireland has come along way in the last 30years
@@ThairishTimesIts 5 minutes ago in the history of the country so I'm just kind of shocked you weren't aware.
I mean I wasn't born in 1938 but I'm pretty familiar with what Germany was getting up to around then.
Anyway, no worries.
@@willsmith39 So, concerning this divorce procedure, now, in Ireland. What do they do? Do you need to throw a stone, THREE TIMES, and say... I divorce thee; I divorce thee; I divorce thee.... Is this the way it works in Dublin now?
Same reason their families tend to be quite large
Long time since Irish have large families. People who have 4 children now , that is considered large.😅😂
It's (Philippines laws) a Catholic trip... being Irish, I would think you'd understand that easily! They just take it a bit too far.
I’m a millennial we are so removed from old Catholic Ireland
Man, I was born in '86 in Ireland. You don't remember the divorce referendum in '95? Huge deal at the time and just barely passed. Youse must be half Pagan up in Dublin ha.
Where's Dan's ex-wife video?
You can be prosecuted in Thailand for defamation, even if what is said is true
