@@ismmc8758 yes I'm aware. Wilts 40 yard dash time came from his workout with the Chiefs. Not exactly NFL combine but as close as possible since their was no combine.
My first Pats game live was the Chargers interception, I was 11 years old. The energy of that moment was something I’ll never forget, to this day I can see it from where I saw it in the stadium. Pure elation and incalculable amusement all at once. Surely one of my greatest moments as a sports fan, and one I will never forget. Thank you Jules and Gronk for shedding more light on one of my favorite players of all time, and Vince for… being Vince
Was at the broncos game against the chargers when they first took out Kyle Orton and put in Tim Tebow. Crowd was electric as well. Un related except for the chargers bit but cool memories each fan has.
As a Colts fan, I have nothing but respect for Wilfork. He was so much faster than he should have been. He beat a RB to the sideline when he was with the Texans. DT later in his career, matching the speed of a RB!
I remember watching Vince play basketball and kick a 40 yard field goal on Hard Knocks. Dude was a serious athlete, insane how quick he was too at that size.
That was an unbelievable tackle on the Buffalo receiver. Hell, I wouldn't even call it a tackle. That was an annihilation. The dude got right up too. I thought he would be dead, but he got up like nothing had happened. Respect.
Vince could play every position. Love the dude, I still think about some of his plays. Early in the 07-08 season, 1st or 2nd game, two dudes were set to block him for a run play. Made the tackle and took the other two down with him. Couple plays later, they put 3 dudes on him to block - but he just reached out his arm, and brought the other dudes with him to make the tackle again. They stopped trying him after that and made me a fan of his for life. Dude also has a bbq joint of his own. Hoping I can visit someday 🤘
Vince lived in my hometown in a very exclusive area . The story in a short blip was that Vince was off to the Texans when he left his home he left the pool open and other services that were supposed to be shut off for winter . That didn’t happen and the pipes froze and the pool froze causing in the $ 10,000’s range of damage !
I love how teams like to put high pick rookies to the test. I was watching a podcast where Shawn Merriman said that on day one coming from a holdout, they put him in one-on-one pass rushing drills against Lorenzo Neal.
You have to give Edelman some credit because I'm pretty sure that the Jet's fumbled the Kick Off right after the Butt Fumble and he picked the ball out of the air and ran it about 20 yds for another Pats TD, and Julian never mentioned it.
I remember watching his interception playing against I don’t remember, he chugged downfield with opposing players trying to tackle him before he finally went down. It was comical to watch, but so impressive of his skill set. 😆
Vince has super human strength, Other than Larry Allen Vince was the strongest man in the NFL. Coach Belichick said one time you can't find Vince Wilfork's walking the streets.
I personally would consider him a whiz. There's plenty of people that have that body type and not a whole lot of them play football. Actually almost none of them play football. And yet Vince wilfork is one of the greatest of all time in his position. He's a whiz because he figured out how to throw his weight around in a way that's unstoppable.
I remember playing Madden for the first time, haven’t yet watched football as I just moved to the US at that point. I always used the Pats, and every single time Vince would just eat up the RB. For whatever reason, everytime that happens I just go “Big Daddy!” Lol
If Vince was on the Patriots when Aaron Hernandez was there, Aaron would never have done what he did. Vince was a real leader and would have kept him in check, unlike the “leaders” that were on the team at the time. R.I.P. to the best tight end in franchise history.
About going after Vince…. “I was trying to gainer my keeps, man. I was trying to prove myself. I didn’t care who was in my way. Then I learned I do care who’s in my way.”
I remember he intercepted a screen against the chargers with 1 hand jumping. Even Phillip rivers couldn’t believe it . Edit: lmaooooooo gronk just brought it up after I commented
I remember when Gronk elbow dropped that DB while the DB was laying on the ground. Hardly no fine no suspension. Espn barely covered it because Gronk was on the Patriots. God Bless Priveledged America🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Hahahahahah
Vince wilfork makes big dudes looks like small dudes.
Groin made that circle look big.
hes only 6"2" so not really, but yeah he makes average dudes look like Frank and makes Frank look like a 1st term abortion.
I think Vince broke the 40 record for someone over 320. He was CRAZY fast for his size
He was also probably giggling the whole way 😂
Idk, Wilt Chamberlain did the 40 under 4.5 at 7'1 and about 300. Not quite 320 but still a large human.
@@jasonnelson6624 I think he's talking about nfl combine 40 times.

My brother and dad went to that game I was so jealous

Legend! We love him so much! Thank you Vince!

Vince had 13 tackles in playoff game against Ravens Jan 10 2010. Crazy stat for nose tackle.
Vince wilfork and Julian Edelman my 2 favorite pats ever
You two are going to become one of the biggest podcasts available! Enjoy the climb to the top.
Vince being the cause of the butt-fumble on thanksgiving is hilarious
Vince is his own Dynasty! He is a man that if he got super mad i think he could pick up a buick and trash it!
I remember watching Vince play basketball and kick a 40 yard field goal on Hard Knocks. Dude was a serious athlete, insane how quick he was too at that size.
I remember watching Vince Wilfork race Aquib Talib in training camp one year. It was like a hippo vs a gazelle but Wilfork was moving
Good comparison cause if you’ve ever seen a Hippo running they are surprisingly fast!🦛💨
I’ll never forget seeing Vince make a tackle on a HB toss in Buffalo that put him into another dimension and didn’t even celebrate 😳 amazing GO PATS
That was an unbelievable tackle on the Buffalo receiver. Hell, I wouldn't even call it a tackle. That was an annihilation. The dude got right up too. I thought he would be dead, but he got up like nothing had happened. Respect.
BEAST to the FEAST. I remember one playoff game where he was exerting such effort that steam was coming off his head.

mass * velocity = Momentum and mass * acceleration = Force. But momentum can do just as much damage as force. You were close enough
Big vince! One of the all time best
Someone once said Gronk had toilet seats for hands and watching this video I can see it. Massive mitts.
One game of prime Wilfork against a prime Larry Allen, RIP, would have made for great football.
Big Vince was a monster on that Dline

I'm a Minnesotan and Vikes fan, but I thought he was so cool. The Overalls were beast!
Skol! 💜💛
Sam Darnold sucks
@@northsky5629 Don't be jelly, it makes you look foolish.
So far the hardest one for the dudes to categorize. What a beast
Julian and Gronk holding back giggles at the word 'penetration' like a couple of middle-schoolers 😂
Gotta fire up some Vince Wilfork highlights after this 😂 such a legend
Gronk, appreciate you wearing that Emmitt Smith shirt! My orig fav player as I’m a Gator.

Wilfork ,saragussa, hampton, natta.those guys all came from the same mold.

GRONK🏈EDLESON BEST SHOW🏈🏈🏈
Gronk called it with the Sewell throw!! ahahh
Brian Ferenz resigned from Iowa last season. Thank goodness!
Vince is a FULL GROWN MAN. Big V, where can I buy the sauce?

Vince was on the team and Aaron's teammate literally every year Aaron played 2010 to when he was arrested in June of 13
@@rustynubbinswell there went that theory 😂😂😂
Come on Jules, you of all people should remember: it's acceleration!
About going after Vince…. “I was trying to gainer my keeps, man. I was trying to prove myself. I didn’t care who was in my way. Then I learned I do care who’s in my way.”
gronk called the Lions drawing a trick-play for a lineman…Sewell was supposed to throw a play
These guys both know Kam Chancellor. Vince was the D-line, +100lbs equivalent of that.
He is my all time favorite player I wore the same number when I played football they should definitely retire the #75
How bout the shock factor of the seahawks not running the ball with marshawn lynch 🤔
Where are the cold cuts?!
“Big V” is all the categories
Biiiiiig viiiince ❤❤❤
It's for growing, not for showing 😊
I remember he intercepted a screen against the chargers with 1 hand jumping. Even Phillip rivers couldn’t believe it .
