  • Special Forces Sentinel, also known as buff and bulked up GM Sniper 2. This kit was sent to me by www.gundammodelcenter.com get your very own and other 3rd party kits including In Era, Ruling, Dragon Momoko, SNAA, CCS Toys and more.
In a previous video, I did a review of this and this time I want to customize it for a less cartoony feel, going for a realistic, lightly weathered desert camo scheme. Here, I show you my process on how I customize it, the tips and techniques that have made me two time Philippine Gunpla Build World Cup Champion.

you should try applying decals before weathering for a more realistic look

yes that will work as well, especially if you want the decals to be torn and worn when you do weathering. Mine is only slight weathering and if you look at real world examples, decals on cars are pristine compared to the surrounding metal. Both methods work

actually I personally don't like mixing franchises because if compared with the real thing, you will always see the flaws. has to be done really well and subtle, where the viewer goes "that looks familiar"

man, i have never successfully used lighter fluid for clean-up without it eating all the way down through the primer...

What type of paint are you using? I've never had any issues - I always use a lacquer topcoat prior to sumire (panel lining). That locks the paint under a solid protective layer, as it should hold up to everything short of lacquer thinner. Then once the decals are on and any weathering, I do one more final layer of topcoat.
