That’s insane. I’ve never heard or seen this kit before but now I need to find one. I bought a few of the old 1/60 kits like zeta, rx-78 and victory gundam. Now I’m chasing the jumbo zeta 😭.

Love this ms! Anyone wanting to get into serious weathering using oil paints should also check out Mike Rinaldi at Rinaldi Studio Press here on yt! His oil paint rendering techniques are very easy to learn and get you crazy detailed results. I only use oil paints for weathering now, give it a try.

you should try applying decals before weathering for a more realistic look

man, i have never successfully used lighter fluid for clean-up without it eating all the way down through the primer...

Great video and I also learned new things. Was it difficult to disassemble due to the kit having numerous gimmicks, features and details? Because I have the Sazabi Ver Ka on the way here. And I might build it right away but I'm also planning to paint it on the future once I have saved up for an airbrush and compressor.

interesting using the clear red on the white/grey base coats...to get that color separation, very clever.
