- In this episode of 'Engineering Marvels' we take a look at 3 on-ongoing projects that are going the change the future for millions of lives along the way. We start with the new NH58E, where HG Infra Engineering Ltd crew is overcoming the challenging terrain and working miracles with minimal equipment, cutting through hills to connect Kundal and Jhadol in Rajasthan. The new NH49 connecting Mumbai and Kolkata is a great opportunity to bring connectivity and development to remote parts of Orissa and Monte Carlo Construction Ltd has deployed special heavy-duty excavators and drills along with a mammoth crew of over 2600 men and women as they aim to connect Binjabahal to Singhara 3 years before the deadline. GR Infraprojects Ltd crew is busy connecting Kamliya and Kandarwara village in Madhya Pradesh, a small but important stretch along India's longest expressway connecting Mumbai and Delhi. Myself Working at highway project is very challenging. We need to work around 12 13 hrs.. Sometimes 15hrs a day. But for the country we the highway engineers are doing a great job.

10 years ago, I used to watch great engineering marvels featuring in Nat Geo or Discovery about US, UK or even China. I used to wonder whether any infrastructure marvel can happen ever in India. Gladly! this is the phase I have been waiting for...

Also travelled this highway in the second week of April 21. From Nizamuddin Bridge (Delhi) to Partapur crossing (Meerut) it took exactly just 47 minutes driving at the prescribed speed limit that is 70 km per hrs. upto Delhi border and 100 km. onwards to Partapur crossing. It was a wonderful experience.
Travelled on this expressway in the 2nd week of April 21. It took exact 47 minutes from Nizamuddin bridge (Delhi) to Partapur crossing (Meerut) driving under the prescribed speed limit i. e 70 km p.hr. up to U. P. border and 100 km p.hr. from UP border to Partapur Crossing. Much will be changed by 2025 on completion of ongoing infra project. Great achievement by the present government and no words for Hon. Minister for Road Transport respected Gadkari ji, who is doing wonderful work.

I have watched engineering marvels for a decade it's really making me happy to see India's infra getting discussed earlier all they would discuss was foreign projects This really shows how much India has changed.
Nitin Gadkari is really the man who should be appreciated for this. He is a man who works silently, away from the limelight. We need more leaders like him who speak less and do more.
