- [Sponsored] In this episode of Engineering Marvels, we showcase three infra projects made possible by diligence and ingenuity of Ashoka Buildcon crew. When the ambitious Delhi-Mumbai expressway project hit the Narmada river roadblock, the team at Ashoka Buildcon had to come up with ground-breaking solutions to build first of its kind bridges in a record time. A job made much harder by the unprecedented floods. Left incomplete since 2005, the Roopnarayan Bridge Project posed entirely different challenges. With the other bridge detereorating rapidly, time was running out and once again Ashoka Buildcon came up with another first of its kind infra solution. Today, that bridge plays a crucial role in connecting Kolkata with the biggest port around, Haldia. Looking eastwards, the Eastern Peripheral Expressway needed a bridge over road to reduce the traffic congestion and ease cargo movement through the capital. A conventional approach would have taken two and a half years. Enter Ashoka Buildcon. Leveraging their enormous expertise and colossal resources, including machinery and workforce, they made it possible in just 100 days. #EngineeringMarvels

A less than 100 m section got damaged which was repaired within a day. Not a big deal . The construction firm is responsible for maintainance.

@@papukutum5433 it's newly constructed ,after heavy rain often leads to some sort of damage ,but it's been repaired within few seconds, atleast it got completed before deadline , atleast somebody took initiative to build something , what past governments did ? so we appreciate that , seems u r andhvirodhi.

It spends more ,the most.
It is not about spending blindly. We lack vision as a society to build frameworks for future. Again if some people have vision but we are pulled down massively due to huge population depending on free rations and directly depending on govt. We have created generations thriving on socialistic philosophy due to which we have chalta hai attitude(Majority of population). Just watch how many people are actually skilled to do jobs. General population are far from having scientific thinking, even the scientists and researches..yes I repeat the junior researchers also lack scientific temperament. Most of the scientists are only present because they didint get govt jobs or good private jobs and took research as a means of survival thriving on stipends!!!

I am sure someone took the rights to show it and we will get a video of it. If you are laughing at the road getting bent because of some rains then it is pretty normal my friend . Unfortunately the picture that was shared on social media was it getting repurposed so a lot of netizens thought that the road was completely washed.
That bridge building in India is so primitive, maybe they should learn from the chinese or japanese 😁

@@AS_41 yeah like how india build the high speed train … India should stick to software which they’re really good at and take help from the construction giants, like the chinese. By the way, china and nepal are working on building a railway together and that might be the highest in the world, and china also build the railway to tibet and it’s mostly bridges - you need an oxygen mask to travel that route. Just search “highest railway in the world” and “list of highest bridges” . Hopefully I can do it in a few months when i’ll travel to china 😍
