Let's just hope that whatever they do for these games is at least half as good as this. That redesign for Cyrus is pretty good, too. I would not be opposed to seeing him appear like this in a later game. Keep up the good work! :)
It's not entirely out of the question that we could go back to the distortion world in future titles, Game Freak is good at doing strange things. Plus, there's always the remakes to consider.
+Kamron Edwards the remenents of team galactic form together once again to bring back cyrus from the distortion world by using dialga and palkia which backfires distorting time and space making primal dialga or primal palkia (depending on the game you play) defeat them (like pokemon black2/white2 with their respective forms of kyurem) distorted power goes back into the distortion world and cyrus comes out of said world looking like a distorted version of himself... (battled similar to mother lusimine in SuMo) but with distorted pokemon as well and once defeated, cyrus will have no will to cause the world harm again (similar to archie and maxie in OrAs and RSE) and can be battled once a month in the headquarters
Whenever I hear the part that plays from 0:58-1:08 I always imagine Weavile and Infernape rapidly exchanging blows like a couple of Dragon Ball Z characters duking it out.
Of all the modern remixes of this song I've come by (and when I say "modern", I definitely mean XY/ORAS/SM style), this one by far is the best. I never thought anyone could truly do this theme justice in the 3DS era sound, but it looks like you proved me wrong. Excellent job. :)

I want that, but I don't think it will be soon. If you look at the remake games, they are all 2 handheld generations after the original release. GB-GBC-GBA-DS-3DS. Red and blue go from GB to GBA, Gold and Silver go from GBC to DS, and Ruby and Sapphire go from GBA to 3DS (obviously this listing isn't including minor system upgrades such as GBASP (i think thats what its called) and DSi, as well as the virtual boy
Plot: The two worlds (DP and Us/Um) are colliding together and bring destruction to one another. You suddenly find Gladion and Cyrus fighting (Cyrus representing the DP remakes and Gladion sm). As they both try to persuade you to help each ones world, you must decide to help either Gladion or Cyrus (Sm or DP?). when you choose the world you want to help, you will battle the other guy (Ex: Choose Gladion, Fight Cyrus). This is the theme that would play if you choose to help Gladion.
Just a few words of advice: I like this, it has a grand battle theme to it and I can see it pumping me up to fight him in the Distortion World (or in Spear Pillar, if Platinum doesn't get remade), but the problem is, this mood does not fit Cyrus at all. This sounds more like a champion theme, not quite an evil team leader theme. The original theme scared the player and made Cyrus very threatening, which is what I feel this piece is missing. I think this remix was great overall, but I am hoping for something more threatening for the eventual remakes.
If you stop to analyse, Cyrus is basically the most dangerous person in the Pokémon universe. He planned to recreate the entire universe according to his image and almost succeeded

This one certainly captures how Cyrus's theme could fit the light hearted atmosphere of Alola, although I wouldn't compare this with the Pokemon USUM Rainbow Rocket Remix of Cyrus, that one is the best one.

I think this remix was great overall, but I am hoping for something more threatening for the eventual remakes.

Hey, since this music is worth to be in a Gen 4 Remake ( No kidding, this is lit), Can you do a Remake of giratina's battre theme who sounds like it could fit in the game? I would like to hear that. Your work is really good, man, Respect.
This one certainly captures how Cyrus's theme could fit the light hearted atmosphere of Alola, although I wouldn't compare this with the Pokemon USUM Rainbow Rocket Remix of Cyrus, that one is the best one.
Love the theme, and I really dig the artwork as well (despite it being seemingly based on Colress' redesign)
