This video unintentionally turned out to be more of a full mod playthrough instead of the kind of thing we usually do... still not sure quite how that happened, but oh well.
I've been taking a math class recently, and I can say Pythagoras was indeed a stuffed greek antlion who accidentally started an apocalypse by discovering the number 5.
so last night I was watching this video and I fell asleep ; and I was dreaming the rest of the video. not only the dream was wacky and extremely long , but also I was with these two and it came down to a very emotional point where we had to say goodbye in a sunset scene
just for the record I'm pretty sure the answer to the physics question "why doesn't the skateboard fall through the sidewalk" is because of the normal force
it was either that or, since the normal force and forces in general are mostly just a convenient model that we use for maths and such, it was about atoms repelling each other :P
I mean more specifically it's electromagnetic force. electromagnetism governs basically everything you ever interact with in daily life, it's the thing that stops objects passing through each other, governs chemical reactions, and obviously your EM radiation too like light which is pretty important.
welcome to Mistake of Pythagoras! Starring: Combinen't Gordon't Alyxn't Klinern't Barneyn't and starring special guests Gravity Numbers and Gravityn't barrels
Theory: Pythagoras was an Antlion who discovered the two best numbers: Five and Eightfinity. Then he looked at one of those things where you put shapes in the holes and decided to make life size ones. That was his mistake. He then was killed by his many creations, and was stuffed and put on display in his own workshop. After this, the Geometry Empire travelled from dimension to dimension, and came across the Beta and Canonical universes (Beta due to that citadel picture thing later on in the game and the canon due to the soldiers’ appearance.) They invaded the Garry’s Mod RP Canon and threw numbers at people because the people didn’t have high IQs. Gordon is possessed by two unknown entities who are in control of time and he visits Planet Greece to take down Pythagoras, killing many and also destroying reality in the process, also coming across many combine dimensions, now unrecognisable due to it being from a much different dimension. The gods frowned upon gordon and the Geometric army, now looking at what they had done. Now Gordon explored many further stretches of the multiverse, now at it’s very edge taking down another triangular prism. He arrives on Normal Planet and fights Big Momma Prism in about five seconds. There was a memorial for all who died in the War of Nonesense, May they rest in pythagoras. Dedicated to the entire game making no sense.
Also, that wasn't the beta citadel. You may have interpreted it as such because the citadel is covered in blockier stuff (Alien tech), which could have made it look like the early citadel.

The placement of lights mostly, its all so good

The oldest hl2 mod is called the thing created in September 2004 (before hl2 itself) on Russian forums by a user named Donald after the hl2 source code leak
24:59 That and the other parts like that had me giggling, you guys never fail to make fun content. As for the question, I'm from Greece and I can say we are certainly not invisible.
The monument at the end was memorializing the white colored machines who were seemingly wiped out by the brown ones. You might have missed it, but when you first enter the algebra dimension, you see a brown machine kill a white machine. Throughout the algebra dimension, you find pieces of white machines all over, implying a slaughter of some sort.
I'm still taken aback by how goddamned good the mods Koumei Satou made or was at minimum involved with (was Sweet Half-Life a team effort? I've never gotten that straight in my head) actually still are to this day. Literally this random Japanese guy made some of the best Half-Life mods that I still hold in higher regard than some of the more complex ones made later.
When I realized it was from the same author that helped with Sweet Half-Life and Peace Like Us, I quickly started seeing the parallels - especially noticeable with the "Another World" level back in PLU, and how the enemies and their reality is presented in MOP here.
PhysX was developed by NovodeX AG at ETH Zurich in 2001, it would later on be acquired by Ageia Technologies Inc. in 2004, which in turn would be acquired by nVidia Corporation in 2008.
seems like some people miss a part of the story and dont really understand what happens in the ending. the "white alien ships" are supposed to be the good guys. hence why they give us the LOS telekinesis. but when we get back to earth, barney and alyx and the crew are not aware of that and think of them as the enemy. hence why they kill the white ship. and why the combine build a memorial for it.
Apparently GMod has quite a few add-ons that have been hacked, making it pretty much impossible to play the game if these add-ons are installed. So good job making this. Also you should play Stray when it comes out so I know if it's worth getting. Or Minecraft.
