His accent is so interesting. Half Australian, half American southern
There is a distinct aboriginal accent there. That is how regional aboriginals use to talk.
He was born in Katherine Qld to Californian hippie parents who met at a music festival. His parents went their separate ways and he grew up with his father who taught school at the Aboriginal community of Papunya. His father had a southern USA accent.

@@UNEAKinfluence Yea, this song is nothing to underestimate if you are going to give it a go... the first time I tried I gave up after some months. Been at it again now for over a year and it's starting to sound more more like it should. Good luck.
@@PeturMag haha! Dude, I've been at it for probably over a year here and there, too. It's probably the hardest song I've ever learned. Even travis picking came much easier. This guy is such a comically underrated guitarist if you ask me.
