I love love love your channel. However I too cannot support or even watch anything to do with Caroline Van P or her birds. What she did to Tyler Nolan whilst promoting her book, was downright disgusting. She, if I remember prior to getting the 2 hyacinth macaws used to lock one of the smaller birds in the bathroom all day. She also has hope in a smaller crate on the floor. Or that’s where hope was at some point. She’s a bumbling idiot who discounts and overlooks all her own issues whilst using Click Bait continuously. She actually puts herself above everyone else yet even Birdtricks had issues with her whilst attempting to help her. Something seriously wrong there. She promotes kissing her birds on the “Butt” and even goes as far as insinuating that only sexually frustrated people advocate not touching your bird below the neck. If I remember correctly Birdtricks told her not to over stimulate her birds. I really believe that you are known by the company you keep, so as to avoid been tarred by the same brush. Caroline has a huge issue with triggering hormones in her birds. That’s probably why Glory has such issues. It’s a people problem not a bird problem. When bird tricks was working with her she seemed like she was totally ignoring the advice on hormonal issues. She likes to sleep with her on the couch. And glory stared regurgitating. She gives her bird stuff like toys etc that trigger hormones. I know Caroline care about her bird and they are her life. She just really needs to take the hormonal issues seriously. To me personally it’s a tad gross to knowingly continue triggering the hormonal behaviors. It’s unfair for the bird who can’t consent.
Caroline is creepy and I feel sorry for her birds. I watched her old video (the only one I watched) when her baby Love got her beak damaged by another bird. Was not only shocked at how it happened I was sickened how she blamed her other bird and was immediately talking about how she needed to get rid of that bird! Even though it wasn't the birds fault, it was her negligence!!! It was also disturbing that instead of just tending to her injured baby she was making a video!! I thought the whole thing was a sick act for a minute then realized it was real 😢🐦💔

Coraline said that it was because he only pets his bird on the neck, and that the bird didn't need any medication just love. She's so stupid. And she literally rubs her birds butt.. tikki I agree, Carolyn has turned commenting off, she must have been getting abuse. I think Marlene is in an awkward position of having a friendship with Carolyn and not wanting to see negative comments about her but on the other hand, associating with her is detrimental to Marlene’s reputation. She cannot support this behaviour towards Tyler. It was done for views and it worked. Carolyns advice is against everything we know about bird care and she endangers her birds often. I used to follow her. It’s also a lot to ask Marlene to take on 3 extra birds with no notice. She should have had proper arrangements made well in advance of her holiday. Poor Vinny is terrified of those macaws.

Energy plays a huge role in animal behavior. You and George naturally have a healthy calm energy and that shows in the birds health and behavior. Animals mimic their owners in that way. I don't own birds, but I have Basset Hounds and 100% relate to the noise and the struggles of training them. It takes a long time of consistent behavior modification to truly train an animal and during that time they make a lot of noise. I live in a house and found it helpful to introduce the neighbors to my hound puppies so they had a better understanding that they are babies learning their manners and they will be loud but I am constantly training them. Every interaction with your pet -- whatever they are -- is a training opportunity .

the original owner knew about her screaming and if it's true that his wife was very sick which we think is bs it was about her screaming. when Carolyn went to pick her up, Gloria was in a cage screaming but he put all Gloria's stuff outside and probably happy to rid of her. Associating yourself with carolin isn’t a good thing big Marlene.. she’s been told off by some of the better parrot owners and doesn’t listen. Her advice is horrible, unsafe, and utterly incorrect. She has a problem with not listening to actual experts and creating a reality in her head where she is the main character and her word is always correct. She loves to start drama. There’s so many things wrong and she’s literally telling people to fricken masturbate their birds because “that’s the kind of love they need” look at the clips from the Tyler Nolan video (which is a great example of all the points stated above) she has clips of her rubbing her birds vents, it’s disgusting. She needs to wake up and care for her birds well.
I was in management for years - it was always true that you praise in public and train/mentor in private. I have the utmost respect for Marlene for the care she gives her own birds, the help she gives to the community and the compassion she has for individuals. Many are advising Marlene on what to do and how to do it in relation to this current issue. The most important thing first - she has provided a friend with support and cared lovingly for birds that needed temporary housing. Not too many would take on three birds that size without a second thought. Kudos to you. Additionally, no one in here knows what advice she is providing with that support so I'd suggest that let the issue go for a while and enjoy the sight of those gorgeous birds. What happens on the other channel really doesn't concern this one imho.

Caroline has a huge issue with triggering hormones in her birds. That’s probably why Glory has such issues. It’s a people problem not a bird problem. When bird tricks was working with her she seemed like she was totally ignoring the advice on hormonal issues. She likes to sleep with her on the couch. And glory stared regurgitating.
She gives her bird stuff like toys etc that trigger hormones.
I know Caroline care about her bird and they are her life. She just really needs to take the hormonal issues seriously.
To me personally it’s a tad gross to knowingly continue triggering the hormonal behaviors. It’s unfair for the bird who can’t consent.
Caroline is creepy and I feel sorry for her birds. I watched her old video (the only one I watched) when her baby Love got her beak damaged by another bird. Was not only shocked at how it happened I was sickened how she blamed her other bird and was immediately talking about how she needed to get rid of that bird! Even though it wasn't the birds fault, it was her negligence!!! It was also disturbing that instead of just tending to her injured baby she was making a video!! I think Marlene is in an awkward position of having a friendship with Carolyn and not wanting to see negative comments about her but on the other hand, associating with her is detrimental to Marlene’s reputation. I used to follow her. It’s also a lot to ask Marlene to take on 3 extra birds with no notice. She should have had proper arrangements made well in advance of her holiday. I don't own birds, but I have Basset Hounds and 100% relate to the noise and the struggles of training them. It takes a long time of consistent behavior modification to truly train an animal and during that time they make a lot of noise.
I live in a house and found it helpful to introduce the neighbors to my hound puppies so they had a better understanding that they are babies learning their manners and they will be loud but I am constantly training them. Every interaction with your pet -- whatever they are -- is a training opportunity .

Associating yourself with carolin isn’t a good thing big Marlene.. she’s been told off by some of the better parrot owners and doesn’t listen. Her advice is horrible, unsafe, and utterly incorrect. She has a problem with not listening to actual experts and creating a reality in her head where she is the main character and her word is always correct. She loves to start drama. There’s so many things wrong and she’s literally telling people to fricken masturbate their birds because “that’s the kind of love they need” look at the clips from the Tyler Nolan video (which is a great example of all the points stated above) she has clips of her rubbing her birds vents, it’s disgusting. She needs to wake up and care for her birds well.
I was in management for years - it was always true that you praise in public and train/mentor in private. I have the utmost respect for Marlene for the care she gives her own birds, the help she gives to the community and the compassion she has for individuals. Many are advising Marlene on what to do and how to do it in relation to this current issue. The most important thing first - she has provided a friend with support and cared lovingly for birds that needed temporary housing. Not too many would take on three birds that size without a second thought. Kudos to you. Additionally, no one in here knows what advice she is providing with that support so I'd suggest that let the issue go for a while and enjoy the sight of those gorgeous birds. What happens on the other channel really doesn't concern this one imho.
