I am tired of the people who get offended and want to cancel people. They do it to comedians to as if comedians only should tell jokes the woke is not offended by. he's not wrong. wives should stay at home , dish out home cooked meals and raise babies. That's what it was back in 50s and 60s. Wives defer to their husbands who's the man of the house. What he says goes.
That's what a good Christian family is about and all Republicans support that.

Not all Republicans would agree but...that's BIBLICAL! Now, I have no problem with women working if that's necessary but NEVER at the expense of their #1 duty...RAISING CHILDREN! Maybe that's why prior to the 60's America hadn't lost a single War??!!!

What brings the absolute most enrichment to my and my wife's life (27 years), is spending time with our grandchildren...hands down. Class act Patrick your comment didn’t sound overly “politically correct” or insincere.
Sounds like there’s mutual respect and you honor his character. I’ve said this before “Read the room, know your audience!’ I love that Harrison’s speech to that audience of a Catholic graduating class garnered all this attention! Looks like God used it to get over a million people’s attention along with a small graduating class.❤Well done Harrison!!!

I would have loved to hear the reporter who accused Butker of "speaking ill of women" specify (by means of a quotation, not paraphrase) exactly WHERE Butker "spoke ill of women" in his speech. I didn't hear Butker "speak ill of women" once. Not once. Not even close. And this makes me wonder if the reporter is some sort of moron who is asking an accusatory question without doing his homework. And THAT makes me wonder about his ability to deliver a truthful story. I think that if anyone should be fired, it ought to be that reporter for failing to do due diligence in researching his topic..

A private citizen, at a private college, during that private colleges graduation ceremony speaking about the commonly shared faith of the speaker and the insitution and likely most of the people in the room (for which he got a standing ovation) and the world feels welcome to jump all over him and rip apart his comments! Imagine someone with another opinion at another private ceremony, among people of common beliefs and the Catholics and Chrisitans jump all over them? Then the headlines would be "It's none of your business".
