Born and raised in KC. Lifelong Chiefs fan; I was 9 when they won their first SB 🏆…then the dark times era. Married a Philly girl and became an Iggles fan - everyone needs a favorite opposite conference team. I loved Andy Reid then when I lived there and before he came to KC. When Clark Hunt called him as our guy, all the in-laws all said he couldn’t win the big game. We are living the life. The best part is Philadelphia still roots for him. I was elated for the Eagles SB win… Kelce brothers are just icing on the cake.

Best decision KC ever made was to bring Andy in. Instantly started winning. Second best decision was obviously drafting Mahomes. Never take what we are witnessing for granted. Go chiefs ❤️💛❤️💛

Really liked how Rich clarified the Mahomes making him young comment when Andy had corrected that it was Mahomes and everyone else. Shows the amount of respect shared between the two and that Rich isn't just trying to use his friend for a soundbite.

But always stay humble no matter what happens. To my boys in Red. Go big Red. Stay classy. You have a dynasty enjoy it while it last. Good luck. Goooooo KC.

It's great to hear some of Andy's real personality come out in this interview. He gives pretty sanitized, stoic responses in most media situations, but if you ever listen to him mic'd up at practices or during games, you can see the charisma that makes him such a good leader.

The Kansas City Chiefs culture - inside and outside - the building and on the grid iron - changed dramatically once KC Chiefs Owner Clark Hunt hired Coach Andy Reid. Prior to Coach Andy Reid's tenure, the Chiefs franchise was mired among the worst franchise - because of the culture. Point of refence to Rich Eisen, send Coach Reid a cheeseburger!

I mean, even if Florio completely made it up, it would still be true. No one works 65 hours a week at 65 years old without thinking of retirement. Don't get me wrong, it's probably easier if you keep winning super bowls. Andy probably would have left if he was head coach of the KC snowplow fleet.
