Andy Reid is one of those rare guys who just wants to coach and think of new ways to run the offense. He is not interested in more power, being a GM, or getting an oversized ego. Winning has not changed him but rather has made him more creative and more humble. I love Andy Reid not only as a football coach but as a man and how he interacts with other people.
"...He is not interested in more power..." June 6, 2017 - Andy Reid addresses Jeremy Maclin's release. June 15, 2017 - Jeremy Maclin revealed he was release via a voicemail message from Chiefs general manager John Dorsey. June 29, 2017 - John Dorsey was fired in part because of concerns about his management and communication style. 🤔 Probably just me, but I don't think Coach Reid seeks more power, because when he needs to weld it, it's is there.
It's cool how much Reid respects Colin and just talks to him like a friend. I see many coaches give robot answers, but Andy is such a genuine person that you feel like you get the authentic him every time.
As a Broncos fan, I want to hate the Chiefs players and coaches. The problem is that outside of Mahomes brother and wife, they are all so likable and classy. I love Andy Reid..
The Chiefs seem to recruit players for character as well as skill. The anomaly was Tyreek Hill - who, let's face it, remains a complete tool - and Kadarius Toney. The rest of the team are all really nice, humble, intelligent dudes. And Andy obviously leads by example compared to someone like Sean Payton, who seems to be auditioning for the role of Bond villain of the NFL.
Can’t stand Mahome’s brother, they need to bar him from being on the field… It’s absolutely ridiculous that he is allowed to prance around doing live feeds for his Instagram and Tic Toc accounts on the field… I feel for Patrick Mahomes, his brother and father keep embarrassing him, unnecessarily.
Andy Reid is a great coach, and seems like a great guy, too. He's really easy to root for...which isn't something you can say about a lot of winning coaches. Good luck next year to the Chiefs, for a 3-peat!
It’s crazy to think how this dude went from a Kyle Shanahan like resume/ playoff choker label to being discussed as one of the greatest coaches of all time
That’s what makes football such an intriguing sport. So many pieces have to fall into place to win the big game. The marriage between QB and HC is the most important relationship throughout any sport.

Greatest Head Coach of all time. Belichick was carried by Brady. Reid made it to superbowl with McNabb and won a ton. Made playoffs almost every year with Alex Smith and won division. Belichick has accomplished nothing without Brady
Plus all of Andy's former players LOVE the guy. That can't be said of Belichick, who treated all his players as disposable, including Brady. Andy's also changed with the times, so still suits the modern era of the NFL. I'm not surprised Bill's ego and dictatorial style meant that he didn't get any job offers after the Patriots. He got exposed.
A generational qb quickly changes the narrative of a coaches legacy but his history before that happened as far as getting the most out of mediocre qb’s, stacking wins, and having a highly successful coaching tree is what makes him truly special. He’s a legend.

Why don’t you do a rundown on him and see if he would fit.” There’s no pressure but if you see someone you can bring that person to his attention for a look see.
