  • I LOVE THIS GAME! Here's another drive rush combo guide which I feel is more practical than the last Ryu drive rush combo video I did. Consider this also another how to use drive rush sf6 guide.

    Nice video!! Not sure if you know but you can also buffer the two mediums mid combo then tap forward twice to drive rush. So for example in your combo, If you hold the two mediums while your doing the Hashogeki then all you need to do is tap forward twice once the Hashogeki is done to activate the drive rush. Hopefully this make sense 😅

    DR is very hard on a stick, i found it much easier on controller/pad/hitbox, but super hard to hit Neutral attacks after DR on stick 😢 as you have to wait for the stick to return to neutral before hitting the attack

      You can buffer it, try pressing forward once and the forward + both Mediums to come out frame one.

    • @Dirt33breaks

      @@WolfsTail this isnt the issue or what im talking about.
      Im talking about pressing neutral attacks after the DR is hard on a stick, it comes out forward+whatever instead of neutral.
      Plus thats not a buffer, thats just skipping the parry

      @@chrischand5082 yea I’ve been practicing on both and notice drive rush is a lot harder (for me ) on stick especially converting some moves I’m sure it’s a lot of practice needed but yea I’m noticing some others find it a lot more difficult on stick maybe just alot of practice I know for me I’m slowly getting better ….very slowly (on stick)🥴

    Drive Rush is so hard for me to master, is there a easy way to do it?

    • @switchplayed5412
      @switchplayed5412  Год назад +1

      There are 3 ways to drive rush.
      1.) After a normal attack, so for example with Ryu if you land a standing heavy punch, or a crouching medium punch or any normal like that, you can just double tap the forward button on the dpad. Drive Rush will come out but doing it that method will spend 3 bars but in some instances, that's the only way to drive rush.
      2.) There are two ways to raw drive rush. Meaning no attack precedes the drive rush. One method is to push and hold both medium buttons (or the parry button) and then double tap forward on the dpad. This method can be buffered within combos, So far example, normally after Ryu's EX tatsumaki, you can't drive rush by double tapping the forward button on the dpad. But if you hold the 2 medium buttons during the tatsumaki anmation, and then push the forward buttons twice quickly after the tatsumaki animation is done, then you can drive rush.
      3.) The other way to raw drive rush is to tap forward on the dpad, and then tap forward again while at the same time pushing the two medium buttons or the parry button. But this method is kind of finnicky sometimes.
      So for the combo in this video, after the standing heavy punch, just double tap forward on the dpad quickly. By quickly I mean by the time Ryu's fist makes contact with the opponent's face, you should've already hit the forward button twice.
      For the second drive rush, after the hashogeki, just use either one of the raw drive rush techniques. I recommend method number 2. So hold the medium buttons during the hashogeki animation, and then when the hashogeki animation is done, double tap forward on the dpad.

    • @switchplayed5412
      @switchplayed5412  Год назад

      Are you in classic controls or in modern?
      Are you in the demo or the full game? If you're in the demo, make sure you're in the correct tutorial mode.
      In thsi combo, you don't need to amp it. It's just a heavy hashogeki. Are you sure you're not using light or medium hashogeki? Only the heavy version will launch them without the amp.
