They need to let Kim Mulkey build her team. The Coach understands the mental gauge of her players. Its just like soldiers in war zones. Commanders, they know when soldiers need to decompress. Just because Angel is not in the picture doesn't mean she is not working on her game. Right now with all the evil darts she has to endure she just needs to reload.
LSU is going to have two potent line up attack they gonna either shoot you out the gym or run you out the gym. Mulkey likes inside out don't think her paint attack is going to change. I doubt given Anessa is a junior she will come off the bench. Think line ups going to be strategic depending on whom they play. Excellent situational analysis keep up the good work.

@@Hoopgalleryusa I think Aneesah will start (along with Mikaylah) as well. However, having MW come off the bench as the head of the 2nd unit (and them getting meaty minutes), then having Mikaylah in the game during crunch time with Del Rosario getting da bench, can be a strategy as well.

Depending on how she develops, LSU may need ADR more than they need MW, as HVL/AM/FJ one can argue are similar type players, when no one has the size and weight of ADR on the team. That's not to say ADR is better than MW (or MW can't be better than the three players I mentioned). Yes. Against certain teams (if ADR can be proficient at clogging up the lane and scoring down low), she can be a more valuable asset than MW, even if Mikaylah's a better player. Coach Mulkey will have to make those decisions, based off the development she see. Of course if ADR's just not ready, then scratch everything I just said!!
@msl5253 Mikaylah is the best perimeter defender better off the catch and shoot than the rest has the best handle space creation and is the best passer Adr is more potential if mikaylah doesn't develop any more she is still the most skilled on the team. The older players have to develop she's coming in with what most agree they need to work on
The thing is that LSU has the 🎯 on there back. These teams are coming for them. I am glad this summer they where able to shine but it’s time to get to work.
It's good that they're enjoying the moment because it won't happen again for awhile..They might be an elite eight again or Final Four team but they won't win the championship this upcoming season
This was a damn good video. Some are panicking about the team not together yet, But they will be okay. Let them enjoy their free time cuz come Aug 21, their first meeting, its go time. Even Mulkey said this in her new interview. She also said she would keep the team grounded and humble. Ppl are panicking but forgetting that Mulkey been in this game for decades. If she felt that the team should be together now trust she would not hesitate to say . She is letting them do them now cuz them 4 hour practices aint gon be no joke just like Angel and Flau been said. They will be ready and in shape come Nov 6. As far as improvement, we will have to wait and see that as well.

1)When people say Angel isn't working on anything, they're not just referencing her IG and TikTok. The main thing they're referencing is probably Americup. Rickea Jackson (random example) looked better than before, and Angel looked worse than before. Almost right After Americup, we see Rickea practicing at Tennessee. We even see Raven Practicing at South Carolina, and Kamila practicing at South Carolina and Kamilla won at Americup. Right after the win, she's back in the gym. Angel looked bad and isn't showing that it matters to her. She's not the only one though. And it's really not her fault. If Kim Mulkey wanted her in the gym, I'm sure she would be. But Kim apparently doesn't care either. So it says a lot about Kim too. But at the same time, poor work ethic, and not being pro ready is a call sign of Kim Mulkey players. They don't do well in the WNBA unless they've been in another system, or they're 6'9" lol 2)Yes Angel is growing the game right now, but I think people's worry is that by the time she hits the WNBA (if she even attempts to play in the WNBA. probably a toss up honestly), she's gonna be bad. The run she’s on is unprecedented (attention deals etc post ship) and at that age could be overwhelming for any of us. There are very big expectations but like in the championship she won’t be required to be the one for them to win games . At the next level as is it definitely will be tough but she has 2 seasons and the resources to make sure she is as prepared as possible but absolutely she’s in a tough position because the masses see Aja but it’s not that and many will be waiting to do her like Shacarri she understands that which is why she needs this time away sometimes you have to take advantage of the sunlight because it could all shift like that

Despite Del Rosario's under-developed offensive game, thankfully she doesn't need to score a single point this year due to LSU's fire-power. But she will be needed to grab rebounds, alter shots & bang bodies/foul vs upcoming 6-6+ giants in Cardoso (SC), Betts (UCLA), Kitley (VT), DeBerry (UConn), etc. just to slow them down to keep Angel out of foul trouble. Rosario needs to be in condition to potentially start at center & run the court those few games. Reese would get swallowed, like we saw against Brazil. Problem is, Rosario supposedly just had a small surgery that will delay her conditioning a bit.
Agreed another big body does help Smith looks a bit bigger as well . I just was speaking about her offense because I hate 2 bigs on each side of the post clogging the floor I like for one to be able to provide consistent space at times . From what I remember she looked cool in the hoop summit and mcdonalds game but the Monte verde game was fair and I seen a few others. Hopefully the recovery goes well 🙏🏾

Angel marked Kitney out of the 4th quarter Yes Angel did not have the best game against SC last yr..Although Angel scored 16 points but 4 rebounds ( not good enough) For USA v Brazil it wasn't Angel v Cordosa..it was Angel against a professional WNBA players lol Angel is capability of playing against all the bigs..Angel is going need that if she wants success in the WNBA

I don't think Aneesah Morrow's coming off the bench. I think she's gonna start (with or without Mikaylah, who I think will start as well). Occasionally, they may have Aneesah; Del Rosario, and/or Mikaylah come off the bench (Del Rosario more so IMO). But against most teams (I think) you'll see: Flaujae; HVL; AM; Mikaylah, and Angel Reese start. They'll just do whole sale substitutions against most teams with Kateri Poole; Last Tear Poa; Del Rosario; Sa'Myah Smith, etc. They can afford to do that with the talent they have, and the expected blow outs. Note: For big teams, you'd think they'd put in Del Rosario. However, if they press, and up the tempo with their athletes, it may not make a difference. PS: I think Mikayla's definitely gonna get hers. She'll be the two guard or #3 position, and she will be expected to score, unless she comes off the bench (which is possible), the way you feel they should do with AM, providing instant Vinnie Johnson Type Microwave Scoring! Clark was not as good as a freshman and she started from day one. you putting alot on that freshman williams. Plus you said angel and flajue need to be the voice on the team. that means they should have been there to set the foundation for the team at summer workouts. imo
Flaujae is there but I said them specifically because if they are making Ms but if they can be down to earth it sets the tone . They will have plenty of time before the season . I know, Clark wasn't this good early last season or the one before but I just want her facing that starter resistance and each generation of potentially great players should pick up things quicker they have more access to information and resources for accelerated growth I'm not saying be caitlin clark from the start I'm more focused on the mindset I want her to be conditioned to feel like the one beyond skill set caitlin is extremely confident and I just know what's there with mikaylah

Hailey is good but guardable with bigger more athletic players sc held her to 9pts 36% fg last time they played. We're not stopping Kamilla and they still have good long athletic defenders with more shooting . The gap between aneesah and angel isn't wide both high motor good rebounders take one out same energy on the floor

LSU just started recruiting. SC been stacking classes. SC has 8 or 9 McDonalds All Americans. Those are the kind of "role players" you can work with. SC projected starting 5 player ranking (2,4,5,11,14). Bench (12,13,17,25,40,63). Who else in the country is coming like that. SC still has plenty of size and now have shooters. Until LSU beat SC, they still run the SEC

Clark was not as good as a freshman and she started from day one. you putting alot on that freshman williams. Plus you said angel and flajue need to be the voice on the team. that means they should have been there to set the foundation for the team at summer workouts. imo
Flaujae is there but I said them specifically because if they are making Ms but if they can be down to earth it sets the tone . They will have plenty of time before the season . I know, Clark wasn't this good early last season or the one before but I just want her facing that starter resistance and each generation of potentially great players should pick up things quicker they have more access to information and resources for accelerated growth I'm not saying be caitlin clark from the start I'm more focused on the mindset I want her to be conditioned to feel like the one beyond skill set caitlin is extremely confident and I just know what's there with mikaylah

I only seen mikaylah off ball in usa mcdonalds and nike hoop summit she was on ball in high school games Sakima Walker is 66 67. Hailey is good but guardable with bigger more athletic players sc held her to 9pts 36% fg last time they played. We're not stopping Kamilla and they still have good long athletic defenders with more shooting . The gap between aneesah and angel isn't wide both high motor good rebounders take one out same energy on the floor

She off ball, HVL running the pg and poa her back up. South Carolina has an inexperienced team, no one had a starting role or played significant minutes last year but cardoza. Yea she’s good but she did that good because everybody was focused on Boston. It’s different when your actually the focal point of the scout. Mulkey will scheme cardoza, Throw dubbles at her. And as you seen vs Iowa, one person not go beat lsu. And HVL has proved herself, she averaged 20 a game, ya she has bad games like everyone else. Y’all better put some respect on that girl name. LSU just started recruiting. SC been stacking classes. SC has 8 or 9 McDonalds All Americans. Those are the kind of "role players" you can work with. SC projected starting 5 player ranking (2,4,5,11,14). Bench (12,13,17,25,40,63). Who else in the country is coming like that. SC still has plenty of size and now have shooters. Until LSU beat SC, they still run the SEC
