Yeah the moment I heard that song I heard the melody to the song "I'll follow him" by Little Peggy March, but I didn't realise this was a copyrighted Motown song as when I was very young, we would sing modified lyrics in a clapping game (grade one or grade 2 in the 90s), but the melody was retained. So it's possible Shaun was picking up the melody from a cultural exposure (for example in school as a child) without ever hearing the original source music.
