Brand New 2023 Republic Services Mack TerraPro McNeilus Rearloader

Here is a video that I am actually quite sad to upload. As many of you know JRM was bought by Republic last year and since then they have been switching routes and rebranding. Personally I don’t like buyouts because I feel it takes away the authenticity of the company. Especially one like JRM which has such a defined reputation in this industry. Anyhow Republic ordered atleast a dozen, if not more, of these McNeilus Rearloaders to replace JRMs aging fleet, meaning these would replace the CL, DM, RD’s etc. I found this doing Peabody recycle on the oddly heavy Wednesday recycle route. I’m sure you will be seeing lots more of these trucks considering neighboring contracts such as Melrose and Wakefield are now using these aswell. That’s all I have for now folks, enjoy I guess!

Will anybody ever make a compactor that doesn't drop 1/4 of the material back in the hopper? I have never understood why their is so much gap to let material fall back down.

Maybe the helper shouldn't eat in the job because of the items that fell and he has to keep lifting
