Here in the U.S. most recycling is " single stream" meaning it's all collected in one truck then sorted at a material recovery facility or "MRF". There are many great videos showing them.

easy for the recycle to be heavy when you get a useless 32 gallon cart. It would be oaky if we did not live in a world where everything is ordered and comes in boxes

Always interesting to see the differences in collecting garbage. In The Netherlands we collect, paper, glass, cans, plastic bottles all seperate.
