NCIS brought me here today, 3-15-23. I enjoyed how Tony was there for Ziva during the loss of her father. To all who has experienced a loss of a parent, or loved one, this is very comforting. Blessings to us all. 😇🙏🔯⛪🙌➕😘🙅
I dont understand it from the perspective of someone who had someone die. But I understand the loss. Yesterday marked the end of a 7 year chapter of my life. This songs hitting hard tonight.
Lost a man that was my joy! Phil was light from his heart to his smile! To see love within his eyes. To feel his soul from his touch! This song and his voice in my head keeps me moving forward! I know he is in heaven and is able to visit me to remain me that.....I AM NOT ALONE!

It was actually based on a real life tragedy. In 1994 Shannon Lowney and Leanne Nichols were shot dead by a anti-abortion lunatic at 2 separate Planned Parenthood clinics. They were both staff. The lyrics themselves are quite brutally accurate. Shannon was shot in the throat ("one of them bullets went straight for the jugular vein") and she was due to marry her Fiancé later that year ("The wedding date was June, just like any other bride") The shooter, John Salvi, failed with an insanity plea and was convicted of both murders. He killed himself in prison in 1996.

I carried on until Tony left. Then it really did start to lose the balance it had. Last I heard, Abby had left too. Though that seems to be because of an issue with Mark Harmon. In any case, no Ziva, Tony, Abby or Ducky anymore. It just isn't NCIS.
