Malkit Singh, MBE is a Punjabi bhangra singer who resides in England. He was the first vocalist from Punjab to get an MBE at Buckingham Palace from Queen Elizabeth II. He has almost 40 years of experience in this field.
He published his first album, Nach Gidhe Vich, in 1986. Since then, he has released 21 albums, gone on tour to over 36 countries, and won countless honours and recognitions.
His signature song, "Tutak Tutak Toothiyan," continues to be the fastest-selling and most popular bhangra song ever. His other hits, "Jind Mahi" and "Chal Hun," were included in the Bend it Like Beckham movie in 2002. Singh's blockbuster hit song "Kali Ainak," which debuted in 2022 and currently holds over 10 million views on RUclips and smashed the charts.
