I’ve been working on something similar a long term project I’m doing with fabrics and papers, but without the cube. I have a book by a Japanese Artist. I’m up for this one thanks Sue. x 💐
Oooh Sue! Love this! What a great idea!and everything in the grid journal too! Something completely different..love it and can feel you're really fired up for this.. look forward to following this.. and now I'll have to get find a spiral book!😄 Thanks Sue🌻💕xx
Glad you will be joining in Chris, I'm hoping to get more experimental as I go along but just getting the colours right was a task and a half for the first try!
I think you did a great job and I wish I was even half the artist you are Suzie. I have ordered the cards so will be joining in as soon as I get them😀 Thank you for your inspiration 💕
Hi Sue, this looks like it's gonna be alot of fun. While I will enjoy, very much, watching you every week. Unfortunately, due to my health right now, I'm unable to take on any new projects. But, as I've said, I'm excited to see your progress! TFS 😊
@@suzieqmakes I don't struggle with color, but I really like the idea of yrying to work with a palette I haven't personally chosen. It's always good to stretch ones self!
I've been tempted to get a cube for a while now, but I was unsure how useful it'll be, so it'll be great to watch your project. No doubt it will enable my eventual purchase 😉
I procrastinated about getting it too Clair, they weren't cheap!, but I justified it to myself as a way of getting more colour confidence and improving my skills, sometimes we have to invest in ourselves don't we?
Sue, we must have mind melded. I've just started on Annie's roll I won, and I've decided to do mixed media whatever I've got to hand and secondly I've just put on my Xmas list artist colour inspiration box 1 and 2 by Simon inehan I think her name was I would have brought it last week but my printer went on me so I'll have to try and have some restraint 😅😂
No Sue, I was thinking of keeping them separate, maybe stitch the squares into something, a wall hanging maybe? not really thought that far ahead yet, just starting this journey with you all
Great idea accessible too all.
What a fun new project Sue, and a great way to learn and experiment, looking forward to the next instalment :)

I got those cubes last year and never got round to doing much, so thanks for kicking my b**t! I am looking forward to using new colour combinations!
Excellent! will be good to have you join in Sue
Ooh I nearly bought those! Looks fab and good for trying out new colour combos xxx
I gave into temptation Tori, not seen many people working with them so Thought I would give it a go!

that's a shame Kimberley, maybe once your feeling a bit better this little project will give you a lift and you will try it?
@suzieqmakes I'm hopeful, but was assigned back to bedrest today. Ugh!
Hi Suzie, I haven't seen the cubes. will look out for them and play along. Great share TY💕
They should be easy to find, a bit pricey, but there is a lot of them to keep me going for years!
Oh! I might actually be able to play along with you on this. Exciting!
excellent Marei, although with your quilting experience I don't think you need much colour therapy!

I will check out that other colour box Karen, not heard of that one, I hope you play along, I've learnt stuff already!
Very interesting. Will you attach the fabric pieces next to the painted ones?
