Why is the secretary of transportation Pete Buttigieg teaching us AI upscaling?
Hi Charles! I used to watch your mettle tutorial videos! Great work! Thanks for saving us $$ as we already have Neat but was curious if Topaz was any better. Appreciate the research you did and shared!
Perhaps an example of SD ~640x480 to somewhat almost HD ~1280x960 where the AI artifacts might be less jarring and yet the video more pleasing than SD?
Great tutorials.
Thank you. Very good and informative video.
Hell of a video!!!! Thanks!
Is the enhanced shot at 1:17? This is very cool, thanks for the tutorial!
I guess 9:34 is the enhanced shot but I'm not even 100% sure. Impressive result.
You nailed it man! That was in fact the AI enhanced shot. 💯
17:45 HILARIOUS
Fantastic video and subscribed
long story short:
Video Enhance - good, sometimes not
SlowMo - good, same as Twixtor
Adding FPS to Video - good
Deinterlacing - brilliant
Denoising - good, but NeatVIdeo does it better.
I think that is dependent on the settings and footage that is largely specific to each video clip. But some of these are not even correct categorically. Proteus AI model is highly customizable and can produce vastly different results depending on how you dial in the settings for each clip. It can do things that are super impressive, or not impressive at all, its more a matter of how one uses it than the model itself. Its very powerful... if you use it properly.
Nice video sir , need system configuration for this process please inform to me?
The problem with your demonstration is that all the footage you are using is in good condition in the first place.
Why not try a real challenge for your software: Take an old Mac Sennett or Laurel and Hardy film and try enhancing them to see how good it will work. There are plenty of tired looking videos on youtube: Some examples: Cuckoo the Laurel and Hardy documentary, or the Arthur Askey film Ramsbottom Rides Again. If you can make those look great then you have one of the seven wonders of the world!
I tried and it works. I had a very bad quality video. The only downside is how expensive it is and it took like 2 days to convert :/
@@brandon1997old How remaekable! You say it worked(?) Any chance you might upload the results? Thank you very much for your efforts.
which hardware you use to process video: CPU, video card? AMD or Nvidia more suitable for faster processing?
I used GPU. I think both AMD and Nvidia will work fine, I had a Nvidia video card. 👍
@@YeagerFilm video cards are very different: weak and powerful.. which one you use? Does CUDA cores so important?
Is there a free trial for this?
Hey. Hows the workflow if you just want to enhance parts of a clip in a fcpx timeline?
Hi I use Topaz Video Enhance to deinterlace an old video, the video was 29.5fps but the software double it to 60fps. My video was 8 bit but I used Tiff uncompressed 16 bit. When the process finished and I checked the folder it was saved in, I found so many black thumbnails instead of one video file and when I double clicked any thumbnail, a pop up ask me which app do l want to use to open it. What did I do wrong, and do I have to render the video after editing with Topaz Video IAI
need full software with crack where i can find it
